Music!

There is so much wonderful music out there, and I'm quite sure that I've only just begun to discover it. Again, I like to think of my tastes as eclectic, but I'm only going to dwell on those artists I truly love.

Music in itself has been in my life as long as I can remember. I grew up singing songs in Sunday School and at home, and as I grew older, I began piano lessons, joined the band and learned to play trombone, and joined the choir where I attempted to sing alto. This year, I also began to learn to play guitar. Music is in my blood, and I can't live without it. It offers a release, a distraction, and a way to express what I feel. And who hasn't had the experience of listening idly to a song, only to be jarred by the words. "Hey! That's exactly what I'm feeling!" Music is a way for human beings to connect to one another. These are my favorites.
