Phyllis Griffiths resides in the community of Langford, British Columbia, Canada, on lower Vancouver Island.

Having been disabled in 1990 by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in the USA), she was no longer able to persue her career in Heritage Resource Management. She has since developed her skills with colored pencil, ink, and water color markers to capture images of a wide variety of subject matter.

Phyllis is a cat person, owned by several fine furry felines who provide much inspiration for her artwork.
