and miss you dearly.
These stars are for Trevor and
all physically and mentally handicapped
children. They are all very special.
I am a pediatric nurse in a residential home
for the profoundly physically and mentally
handicapped children. I have been there for
around 12 years now. Each one of the children
have touched my heart in their own way, but
there was one in particular. His name was
Trevor Patton, If he had lived he would have
been 7 now, but the good lord took him to live
where he could run and play, eat real food,
and never have to suffer again. No more will
the ignorant stare at him when he is on an
outing, or pity him for not being NORMAL.
Trevor had a smile like Charlie Brown.
A nose like MaGoo, and a love for life like
no other. His smile was what I wanted to
see first thing each day and I never left
without saying good bye. His Love was such
that he wouldn't let go in our arms, he did
it his way. He is as much a part of my life
now as he was 3 years ago when he left this
world. I really believe he is my guardian
angel. So please lite a star for my little
drummer boy Trevor. And please remember
him in your prayers.
