My name is Kim Dunn and I am a racer out of South Mountain Dragway in Boiling Springs, Pa. This is my second year in competitive racing. In 1998 I qualified 14th place in points in a Heavy Class and that qualified me to go to Bracket Finals in Delmar, Del. I also placed 4th in a Ladies class and received Rookie of the Year. In 1999 I finished 16th place in Heavy and 2nd place in Street. Qualified in both classes for Bracket Finals. Went with 2nd in Street. Went one round at Bracket Finals in Delmar, Del. My car in a 1980 Chevy Malibu. The motor is a 350 small block bored .040 over. 462 heads, zero decked block, Holley 750 double pump carb., Crane 1.6 Roller Rockers, Summit stainless steal valves, Holley electric fuel pump. Best time for 1/8 mile track is 7.69 at 89 mph. Best time for 1/4 mile track is 12.27 at 109 mph. One more important person is my Husband Butch Dunn who put alot of time and knowledge into the mechanical side and pit crew side to make our car run and perform as good as it has. Kim
