It all started when Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, A.J. Mclean kept running into each other at MGM and Universal Studios acting auditions. They decided to harmonize together and after the first night they decided they needed two more people to make it sound complete. They were then introduced to Kevin Richardson. He said that his cousin, Brian Littrell, would love to be in the group. So, they called Brian and he hopped on the next plane to Orlando. And that's how the Backstreet Boys were born!
