"You Heard it Here First"
B*Witched
[Epic]
Inevitable comparisons to the Spice Girls aside, B*witched’s debut CD stands up quite nicely on its own, thank you every much. Who can resist the sing-along hook of the first single “C’est La Vie” or the rollicking chorus of the hit-bound “Rollercoaster”? Yeah, B*Witched follows a basic pop formula, but they, er, spice it up with an endless supply of youthful energy and even some traditional Irish fiddle music! There’s even a song called “let’s Go (The B*witched Jig) Now that jiggy!

B*Witched
[EPIC]
If you like the Spice Girls, then you’ll love Ireland’s B*Witched! They’re a group of four teenage girls-Sinead, Lindsay and twins Edele and Keavy (their bro Shane is in the hot British group Boyzone)- whose pure pop sound is sure to cast a spell on you. That’s ‘cause songs like “C’est La Vie” and “Rollercoaster” are loaded with energy and attitude - you just can’t help but start singing along. They just finished touring with ‘N Sync, but you can still catch’ em in concert: Watch The Disney Channel on March 27 at 7 p.m.

E! Review

"The girls who would be Spice take on curly hair, dental floss and Marilyn Manson"
by Neva Chonin
Now that the Spice Girls have traded their baby tees for baby toys, there's an opening for pop's next big girl group. B*Witched is ready. The perky Irish quartet--19-year-old twins Edele and Keavy Lynch, 19-year-old Sinead O'Caroll and 17-year-old Lindsay Armaou--has already gone double platinum in the U.K. with a self-titled debut album. And fueled by the hit "C'est La Vie" and an opening slot on a recent 'NSync tour, the group is now racing up the charts in the United States. Just another prefab four? No way, say the girls in their rolling Dublin brogues. These girls got their own act together (there's no Svengali here). They also play actual instruments and write many of their own songs (top that, Sporty and Scary). They do have one connection to fame: Shane Lynch, brother of twins Edele and Keavy, happens to be a member of teen pop sensation Boyzone. Other than that, the babes of B*Witched are out to make their own magic.
