The CN Tower
This is the world's tallest freestanding structure and I can remember watching it being built! My Grandfather was most impressed with this structure and as a kid I rode those glass elevators many times. As a young adult, I had an opportunity to become an elevator operator/tourguide but I turned it down and went to work in manufacturing. When someone tells me they have never been up the CN Tower, my first response is:"You aren't Canadian unless you go up it at least once in your life!" My Grandfather would agree. |
Putting it in Perspective
Toronto is one of the finest cities in the world for Architecture. Some of the skyscrapers downtown are "one of a kind" designs. And of course...they all look spectacular at night when viewing the lights from the CN Tower! |
Putting it in Perspective
This is a fun way to see the sites! This picture was taken outside of Union Station looking North at the famous Royal York Hotel. If you ever get a chance to view the inside of this Hotel or Union Station's Cathedral ceiling you will be awed by the magnificence of it!
