To get to the HANG TIME studio, it took us two or more hours to find. We asked a mailman and a couple of other people how to get to the studio which was in N. Hollywood at the Sunset Gowers Studio. When we DID get there, we were all happy cause there was NOBODY in line waiting. It was so neat cause where we parked, you could see the Hollywood sign, yes, I was excited over that too! :)
We got out of the car at about 2:00 or so and we got in line. We were so happy cause we were the first ones there. While we were in line, we put on our Moffatt Crowns and took out our Canadian flags. We had to go to the bathroom, but we didnt want to lose our place in the front of the line, so we were stading there and these two girls walk up to us and start bragging about how many times they've seen the Moffatts and how her and Frank went to Taco Bell and how Scott left HIS shoes in HER car! I was thinking, "Oh come on.."Ariana, me and Kristee were just rolling our eyes the whole time. So I got sick of hearing her, so I walked up the street more to get away, Mom told me she asked if I was mad and mom said "No, she could just care less". God, I hate stupid liars like that!! So Kristee and Ariana walk over to me and they didnt like her either, so we decided to go find a bathroom. We got mom and walked up the street a little bit and went into this studio Lobby and asked if there was a bathroom. The man at the desk handed us a "Big Gulp" cup from 7-11 for Ariana to use! haha So he told us where the bathroom was.
When we came out, I cant remember how we brought up the Moffatts with him...probably our ROOTS clothes..but he kept saying "The Muppetts"? Like Jim Henson's Kermit and Gonzo"?? We kept laughing and correcting him and telling him who they were. It was so funny cause he was asking everybody that walked in the office if he knew who they were. It was funny cause nobody knew! So before we left, I gave him a Moffatt bookmark and postcard. He said "Thanks" and then started saying how they looked like Hanson. We kept insisting they didnt..We kept saying "THEY DO NOT" but I guess you CANT change some people's minds. :) Anyway, we said Bye and Thanks to him and went back outside to wait in line to get in.
When we got back, they had come around and changed the line making it face another way cause they had come around and taken the tickets. That "bragger-girl" had used Athena to get behind us in line! I was MAD! I hated that thing! Anyway, we stood there and about 25 mins. later (It was 3:30), they let us take our seats. The lady that worked there said that to be in the front row, you need to be entergetic and clap and yell for the whole cast and not just for the Moffatts. And the first three rows they used all females.
When we were walking in, they had metal detectors. For some reason, I thought they'd go off because of our cameras and then they'd get taken away! But thankfully, they didnt. We walked over to the Audience section and they seperated us from mom. They put her in the very last row and us in the first row-CENTER! I was so excited. While we were sitting there, over the speakers they played "Slide", "Semi Charmed Life", "Gettin' Jiggy With It", "All I Have To Give", "California Knows How To Party" and some Puff Daddy songs. We kept our crowns on the whole time and held up our "We Drove From San Francisco" sign. Some people that worked there said "You drove from San Francisco"?! It was SO neat! :) This one guy who was like the Audience MC said that if our section made noise, we would be able to meet them. So of course, we made a TON of noise when they introduced the cast.
The taping started at 4:30pm...and I was happier that ever! It was so neat to see how they filmed a TV Show. It looks like nothing goes in to making it, but its really alot! For every scene they did two takes just in case. The time came for the Moffatts to come out. But, before they did, a man that worked there came over to us and told us Clint was eating backstage! haha I was so excited cause they announced that the Moffatts would be out in three more scenes. I wanted to scream so loud then. Them two ladies came up to us and I discovered one of them was SHIELA!! She said "You drove from San Francisco just for this"?! I said "Yeah.." and she said "I talked to the manager at the ROOTS Store, and she told me about you guys". I said "Really?!" I wouldn't have known it was her if it wasnt for the Jesus necklace that she was wearing like the Moffatts wear..except hers was a Rhinestone one. Then Athena asked if she was in S. San Francisco in March, and Sheila said she was there. Athena said "Remember me? I was that really annoying girl"? Sheila said "No, you couldnt have been that bad cause I dont remember" She smiled and walked away.
Then, about 15 minutes later, their step-mom and another lady ((who was their Spanish Tutor)) walked back over to us and we said "Can we give these to the Moffatts"? ((Meaning our Cnady we bought for them and the scrapbook we made)) And she said "Sure"! And she took our stuff and I said "No, could we give it to them"? She said "Oh yea, sure..just stay in your seats after the show and when everybody leaves, you can go talk to them"! I said "Oh my god! REALLY? THANK YOU SOOO MUCH"! I was squeezing Athena's hand and saying "Oh my god..Ahhh" and then yes, I started crying! :) Athena said "Awww..." and I held her hand soo tight! haha She said to Sheila, "SHE'S CRYING" Sheila smiled and tilted her head and said "Aww, dont cry"! But that didnt stop me! LoL! Another lady walked over and asked if we were the "Four Girls From San Francisco" I said "Yeah, and our mom is up there in the very last row". She said "Okay" and I was trying to tell mom that we were gonna meet them, but she couldnt understand! :)
Anyway, the Moffatts came out and were introduced. We were going wild and put our crowns on our heads and held up our sign. They waved to the Audience and went over to the Gym part of the set. I was SCREAMING for Dave! LoL Once they were over there, I couldnt see them, so I watched on the monitor above us and I was in heaven!! They did three takes since Dave messed up in one scene. They lip-synched to "Girl Of My Dreams". I wanted to scream, but I couldn't. During takes, the Audience MC was having kids sing songs in the mic. and he'd give you a Moffatt shirt, sticker, or a CD. I was raising my hand cause I wanted to sing. So I finally get called on. He says "What are you going to sing"? I said "Misery" he said "Anyone else"?! Ha! I was mad! I was gonna sing Misery with the Moffatts right there..but Nooo..UgH!
When the Moffatt's were done shooting their scene, the show producer said "We're going to hear an Acapella song by them..." So when they came back over to sing, we held up our sign and were screaming and singing. The producer didnt want any noise! haha They sang "Until You Loved Me" with just Scott's Guitar and they were RIGHT in front of us! I was smiling at them and Dave smiled back and Scott sang a couple of lines while looking at me! I was on Cloud 9! Dave looked at me and I had this HUGE smile on my face the WHOLE time! When they were done, they left and went "backstage". People that worked there kept telling us to just stay in our seats until everybody else was gone. When the place cleared, mom came down with us and we told her everything and she said "Woah..how did you pull this off"!? LoL! Then their Spanish Tutor came over to us again and said that if she were us, she'd be REALLY excited and that something like this has never been done before! We kept thanking her! While we were waiting in our seats, I was freaking out and thanking God for giving me a second chance. Then, the "Liar Girl" next to us ((Her name was Tiffany)) took a picture of the four of us with Athena's camera as a "before picture". And I told Athena I was totally sweating. She sprayed some Body Spray stuff on me and all over everybody else and believe me, whenever I smell that stuff, my mind goes RIGHT back to June 1st :)
Anyway, the Moffatts came back out about five minutes later. They sat down on the bench used in a scene. We walked down from our seats and I handed them my postcard to Autograph! Clint was first. Before I could do anything, he put his finger in the air and said "Hey, I remember you...you're from San Francisco with the *SEXY* sign"! I said in shock "YOU DO"?! He said "Yeah..and I remembered that..((meaning my Dave pins)) and he said "A Big Dave fan"?! I said "Yeah"!
I was looking at Scott, and Clint said "Who's is this"? ((meaning my postcard)) and I said "Mine! Thank you" And I moved down to Bob. He told Ariana he liked her ROOTS Shirt!! Athena was asking Bob if he remembered her name. I said, "Remember you called her Ethel"? He didnt, but Bob said to me "I see you're sporting ROOTS Clothing" I said "Yea, we went to the store today". And Kristee then gave him the candy we'd gotten for them. I then moved down to Dave with my postcard. I said "Hi!...Can I hug you"?! Sheila was right there watching us and she started to loaugh and looked at me like I was totally strange! LoL! Dave said "SURE..We'll all have a group hug later"! I said "Okay"! Then I went down to Scott. He just scribbled his name. He didnt say anything. Then a couple seconds later, I turned around and I see Kristee HUGGING Scott! I couldnt believe it. Poor Kristee though. Scott didnt even look at her! :( Anyway, I went over to Scott and gave him our scrapbook. He took it and autographed the cover and gave it back. I said "No, you keep it". He mumbled "Oh thanks". Then their Tutor came over and said we needed to go since they needed to film some more that night. So I went up to Dave and said "Can I hug you"1? He said "Sure" So we hugged for like six seconds. I could have died. Mom said "Aww" And then I said "Mom! Take a picture"! She got out the camera and I was kinda holding him from going anywhere. I said to Dave, "Look"! and he wouldn't stay still! He looked the other way :( Aw well..thats okay! :) Their Tutor said "Ok ladies, you need to go now" And then Dave said to me something about "A lost Backstreet Boy"?! I had him repeat himself twice, but I still have no idea what he was talking about! LoL! I felt so stupid! We thanked EVERYBODY and we got out of the studio.
Once we were out, we walked down the street about 2 inches and I went RUNNING down the street SCREAMING on the TOP of my lungs. I had to let it out! Then, when they all caught up with me..I sobbed so hard. I was so happy, I cant even say. Mom and everybody hugged me and I cried just about the whole way to dinner...which was a long time cause we got lost...You dont know how damn happy I was! Oh my god! What stuck out in mind the most, was that I HUGGED DAVE AND THAT CLINT REMEMBERED ME! Woah! Im still in shock. All I can say was that day was the TOTAL BEST for a Moffatt fan and I'd do anything to relive that day and have it be allll the same. I will never forget that day no matter what!
