June 10th 1999

Yep, you guessed it. I freaked when mom finally agreed to take us to Sacramento on June 10th '99 to see the Moffatts!!(Sac. is an hour and a half away) No, TWO times wasnt enough for me! :>

That day, we picked up Ariana from her school and were off to the "End Fest". I was really nervous cause I didnt know what kinda seats we'd get even though Aimee said she'd save us a spot in line since she was getting there early..but I was still kind of un-sure. I just wanted the Moffatts to see us!

We had no problem getting to Sacramento..for once I could say we didnt get lost..Woah! hehe

When we got there, we saw there was this BIG HUGE LONG LINE...just what I was afraid of! Once mom parked, we got out of the car to go wait in the line for 2 and a half hours in the 80* weather. It was MISERABLE!

We went looking for Aimee and we didnt see her, so we kept walking and when we got to the very front of the line, guess who we saw?! AIMEE! haha So I said "Hi" to her and gave her the Moffatts Radio Disney Interview tape that she wanted and she said Thanks. We got in front of her in line and little did we know that the people behind us would be so grouchy over it. People gave us dirty looks and everything! Mom, Ariana and Kristee were SO hot, I thought they were going to pass out! Thats how miserable it was. At about 3:25, they had everybody stand up and get into a "neater" line. That was worse. People kept saying that we didnt look "sweaty enough" to be up in the front. Thats how bad and jealous they were. And trust me, I was SWEATING after being there for so long. If they wanted proof, they could feel my neck or my armpits! LoL

Anyway, they finally get the line moving at 4:00. People were pushing like crazy-BIG DEAL, they might get up like an INCH closer tot he stage. I was screaming and swearing at everybody along with mom! Kristee was crying and so was this other little boy!

Once we FINALLY got to the gate, they checked our bags for cameras and stuff and they took our tickets. When we were walking for our seats, people were RUNNING AND PUSHING! They were such animals. We get to our "seats" which were in the "field" (the lawn, cause after all, they played at a Football Stadium) and were like 30 feet back. I was pretty dissapointed cause if people didnt push, we could have gotten really close in the "wrist-band" section where the music groups would be sure to see you! :( But where we were was okay, I guess..

We sat out there for like an hour and a half and the guy announced the Moffatts were going to be on first! I was going NUTS! I was having a fit! :)

When they eventually did come out, we held up our banner and whipped out our cameras. We were screaming while they wereplaying "Until You Loved Me". They also played "Song 2" by Blur. The Moffatts divided up the audience into 2 sections. Scott and Dave's section..and Bob and Clint's. We were in Bob and Clint's. They wanted everybody to go "WHOO-HOO"! hehe It was fun! Scott was wearing a black-bucket hat with sunglasses! They also sang "Raining In My Mind" and "Wild At Heart". I was in HEAVEN (once again). When they were done, they said they'd be signing autographs in the Tower Records booth in a couple of minutes. I freaked cause I thought we were going to meet them again!

Mom said we couldn't go! I was almost in tears! But finally, she gave in cause the lady next to us said she'd watch our stuff for us. So we went looking for them. We found where they were and I recognized Sheila! She was in the booth with them. I wanted to die!! So we go walking for miles down to the end of the line. And we see Athena. She got her Yearbook, CD and a poster autographed! She also got Sheila's AUTOGRAPH!! I was so jealous! She said Sheila remembered her! :( So we go stand in line. People were saying the Moffatts were going to be leaving soon, so yes, I was a nervous wreck. I just wanted to get their autographs and talk to them one more time. Athena said "Oh, just go over to them. They'll remember you-thats what I did"! So we go up to their booth and Athena is going, "SHEILA, CLINT"! But of course, they didnt hear! :( And I saw the man in there with them that was with them at the "Boys and Girls Club". God, I was so mad cause I know if they saw us, we would have been able to talk to them! But NO! :( I should be happy cause Im already so lucky, but I was really dissapointed.

Anyway, we go back to our spt and watched "EYC", "CNote", "B*Witched", "The Venga Boys", "Blessed Union Of Souls", "Jordan Knight", "Joey McIntyre" and "98*". Most people were there for "98*".. So overall, the concert was okay. At least we got it on video and I was ABLE TO GO afterall! I just wish we could have met them and I hope that wasnt the last I'd see of them for another 3 years. They have definetley made 1999 my FAVORITE YEAR and I hope they still remember us the NEXT time we meet them! :)
