Let's just say, September 21st took for what seemed like forever to get here, and once it came, BAM. It was over.

On the morning of September 21st ((Tuesday)), we drove all the way down to San Diego to look around and stuff. That day, we ate lunch at "In and Out" for the first time. And to my surprise, they only have four things on the menu. I didn't want to eat because I was too anxious about seeing the Moffatts that night, but mom made me.

The weather that day was was awful. It was very humid and it was drizzling. I was praying it wouldn't rain in Pomona 'cause being out there at the fair, in the rain, would have been awful.

So we headed back to our hotel at about 2:00. The weather didn't change. It was still pretty bad. When we got into Anaheim we went into our hotel and got ready. I was debating on whether or not I should change from my Moffatt's Tour Shirt, to my Roots shirt. I finally came to conclusion and I decided to wear my Roots one.

We got into the car around 4:00. I went running out of the elevator with Kristee and we were jumping up and down and dancing around, screaming and stuff because we were excited. I ran through the hotel lobby saying over and over, "WE'RE GOING TO SEE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD." Was I hyper? Hell yeah! When we got to the fair at 5:00, we parked, got out of the car and got our banner and Moffatt crowns out of the trunk. Me and Kristee put the crowns on and started walking in. It was so embarassing because people were staring but it was lots of fun too. When we got to the gates to get into the fair, the guy who took our tickets called the other guy that worked there and said, "Hey look! The King and Queen arrived". I was laughing and we got so embarassed. Once we got in, mom had to use the bathroom, so when we found one, we went in and these two girls in there said, "WHERE'D YOU BUY THOSE CROWNS AND PINS?" I said, "I made them". They liked the idea and said they should've thought of that!

When we were done there, we went into the Amphitheatre where the Moffatts would be. The gy said we wouldn't be able to get in our seats until around 7:00 because of the horse racing and stuff. Darn! So we went over to this little stage and found a table and watched a country band from Bakersfield called, "Cosgrove Rushing". At about 6:30, this man comes and sits at the table next to us. He asked if anyone was sitting there since we had our junk for the Moffatts, inclusing our banner for the concert on the picnic table. We told him "no", so he sat there. He asked who the Moffatts were, so we told him. He said he was going to the concert, but he had no idea who they were. So we told him and gave him a postcard telling about them and a cassette. He said he couldn't play the cassette because he didn't have a player. We started talking to him and we asked him if he wanted to see our scrapbook. H esaid sure, so we handed it to him. A couple minutes later, his wife comes over and she sits RIGHT down on our banner! She said "Oh!" And she got up. LoL Her husand opened our scrapbook and I swear, the first words he said were, "You drove from Frisco?" Mom said "Yeah! This is the second time we came down here for the Moffatts". They said "You drove from Frisco JUST to see the Moffatts"? I smiled and said, "Yeahhh". And they were both oddly amazed. It was so funny. They looked through the book and couldn't believe we did all that work for them. She said, "You guys are like their Number One fan! You are fanatics!". Mom said "Yes! They love these guys". The lady said "Thats so cool. I could never remember going crazy over a group". Mom said, "Yeah. Me either!". So the man bought mom and dad a beer and then we were off to go into the concert. We started walking and saw this long line. Mom said all that Beer was making her go to the bathroom! LoL. We walked into this like Art Museum, and mom and Kristee went to the bathroom. There was this blonde girl and mom told me to talk to her. So when mom and Kristee left, she came over to me and I started talking to them (her, and her mom and dad). She said she was from Manitoba Canada. I said "Woah! We're from San Francisco, thats like a seven hour drive from here...not as far as you, but not close either". She asked how many times I had seen the Moffatts. She said her name was Chelsea and that this was her twelfth time. She then told us that they had changed the seating arrangments because of the rain. I started crying because we originally had really good seats (5th row). So I was dissapointed. I thought nothing was going to stop us from seeing them up close, but sadly I was wrong. I got over it eventually and realized I should just be happy we were there.

We went back over to the line and they had already started letting people in. We walked in and they showed us where we had to sit. I was so mad because we were so far back. We were like in the 6th row in the upper section. Then at around 8:00, this guy came out on stage and starting asking "Moffatt Trivia". You could win shirts and stuff for answering right. So he asked a few questions and I was screaming and yelling because I knew the answers and I wanted to win. But NO! He ignored me. Looser! Those people even gave the wrong answers and still won! How un-fair was that?!

Then about ten minutes later, mom spotted the Moffatt's riding over in a little golf cart. We freaked out! They dissapeared for about another ten minutes and Frank was onstage setting things up. Everyone was wearing KRU Shirts.

The show finally started at about 8:20 or so. They all came out and Scott said, "L.A...Lets go CRAZY!". And the opened with, "Crazy". I started video taping it and this man that worked there told me to stop recording. So I was okay with that. Then, Scott started playing the opening to "Written All Over My Heart". So of course, I was doing this at my own risk. I took the video camera out again and recorded up to the part where Scott said, "Shaw". Then, this mean security guard lady comes over and yelled at me, "Excuse me!" I was pretending not to hear her. I knew she saw that I put the video camera on the seat to record sound. Dad was saying "Ran! Ran!" and after about ten times of that, I turned to him and he was tying to tell me that the guard was calling me. She was screaming for me to either "put the camera away, or I'd be ejected". So I put it in my backpack and recorded sound anway! So, HA!

They played al of "Chapter 1" and then some. They played the long version of "If Life Is So Short" and in a few songs, Dave played the air guitar. Oh my God!! By the end of the show, my throat was so sore. The Moffatts said that they were going to be signing autographs. After the show, we walked over to "the line". We were at the end. I was upset cause I didn't know if we'd get autographs. Then about ten minutes of standing in line, a white van pulled up right on the other side of the gate from where we were standing. Kristee and mom said "Is that them?" Then they got out out and back onto the golf cart. Me, Kristee and Chelsea were like the only ones who ran over there. I grabbed the video camera. Chelsea said "We love you!" and the guy driving the cart said sarcastically, "We love you too." Aww.. that was just what we were hoping for. haha. When they left, we went all the way to the very end of the line..which didn't matter because we were already close to the last ones.

Time passed and I didn't even realize it, but before I knew it, we were there. I was able to see them really well, especially Dave. When we got to the table. it was amazing. Keep in mind they were signing autographs on a horse racing track, so they had big stadium lights everywhere and it looked like day time. When I finally went up to Dave, I got the guts to ask him if I could take his picture. He said "Sure", and he looked up and folded his hands and smiled. It was the CUTEST thing I have ever seen. He looked like he did on the "Moffatt Maddness" video. Since I was having them sign their baby pictures, Dave said "I dont know which one is me". And he laughed. Kristee said, "You're right there". Next was Clint and Bob. I asked them if I could take their pictures twice, but they didn't hear, so I took them anyway. Kristee told Dave who the dog bone was for, and Sheila asked if we knew their dogs name. Scott signed two pictures since he didn't know which baby was him. The funny thing is that, Clint is the only one who signed the right picture.

When we were at Scott, Kristee said "Can we have our picture taken with you?" He said "Sure", but I was over talking to Sheila asking her if we could have our picture taken with her. She said, "Oh sure! Lets go out here sweetie so we don't stop traffic". We went out of the signing area, and mom took our picture. Mom said "These guys are crazy".

We thanked Sheila, then we tried to get back to Scott to have our picture taken, but security didn't let us. Then Sheila told them it was okay. So we went to Scott and I handed Sheila the camera, and she took our picture with Scott. She told Scott to look up for one minute. We thanked her once more and she said "Sure!! No problem!!". How sweet is that?! We saw the Moffatts leave, and they took all their gifts with them. Dave walked out with our Scrapbook and Caterpillar. They all waved then they were gone. Before we left the fair we had a funnel cake. Then, on the way back to the hotel, me and Kristee were so shocked still. It was the most awesome night. It still amazes me just how nice and down to earth they all are. That fact just makes me like them more.

The next morning, we were going to Disneyland, but before that, we stopped at "Save-On", so we could get our film developed in one hour. We had breakfast then picked up those pictures. Seeing those pictures made me happy and excited all over again. Whenever I see those pictures, the memories come back to me as if it all happened lastnight.
