Hello and welcome to the new and improved EAGLE HILL. I am your caretaker, pstoddard. I apologize for not having updated anything on the site for quite a while, but real life caught up with me for a time. However, a few things beyond my control have occurred on the site, so I felt a need to let everyone know. Angelfire has taken away the option of having no ads on its pages. They are, however, allowing them to be on the page itself, as opposed to pop-up banners, which I personally find much more annoying. So I have kept that format, keeping the pop-up banners off of the site. If Angelfire starts requiring pop-ups, I will move the site once again. However, I feel that the on-page ads are not overly invasive, and Angelfire has been good to me up until now. I promise that new features will be added to the site in just a couple of weeks, if not sooner, so please continue to return. Life has calmed down, and I will be able to work on the site again. If you have questions, concerns, or criticisms about the site or the series, don't hesitate to contect me at pstoddard@angelfire.com. Visitors to the site who have been here before the move may notice some changes to the site, but they are pretty much cosmetic. New graphics, and a cleaner feel. WELCOME TO COLLINWOOD: All storylines are now posted!!! Credits pages are updated as often as I get new pictures of characters. Several new character pictures have been added recently. (Many thanks to Tony Fario for letting me use his equiptment for video capture.) Also new on the credits pages are image links on certain characters. Following these links will bring up the "Who's Who" for that character. (But you will have to use the "Back" button on your browser to return to the credits page if you do this.)
COLLINS FAMILY HISTORY: The cast list is as fully complete as I am willing to make it. It takes up more space than I really want to think about, and has most characters and actors aside from bar and restaurant customers. Hope it helps. If you see any factual errors, please let me know and I will try to correct them.

STAIRWAY THROUGH TIME: The 1991 Dark Shadows continues! Chapter 20: Fall from Grace has been posted. This will be a continuing serial using some storylines from the original with new twists. Watch the credits at the end of the chapters to see some interesting casting! Also, some new stand-alone pieces will be posted soon. Check it out!
EAGLE HILL CEMETERY: The newest Who's Who is the life story of Josette in all timelines and Carlotta Drake from NODS. More are on their way. Let me know if there are any specific characters you want to know about, and I'll see what I can do.
PARALLEL TIME ROOM: An all-new links page has been posted with links to the best DS sites. All links have been checked to be sure they are working. If you come across one that does not work, please let me know, so I can remove it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: I see some odd designations attached to storylines and characters, such as PT, PT2 and PT3. What do they mean?
A: PT stands for Parallel Time. On the original series, one parallel time band was shown, in three different time periods (1970, 1841, and 1680). This band is designated as PT. The two MGM movies, House and Night of Dark Shadows, do not follow either original time or parallel time, though they appear to be part of the same time line. Therefore, they are designated PT2, and three time periods are shown in the movies (1970, 1971, and 1810). The 1991 series gave us yet another band of time, making PT3 with 2 time periods (1991 and 1790).
Q: I have heard that Dan Curtis is planning on resurrecting Dark Shadows again. Is this true?
A: The announcement about a new DS at the Dark Shadows Festival in Las Vegas was disappointing, but hopeful. Dan Curtis is in the talking stages about a new DS series and possibly even a feature film. But it will be a while before any of this will be happening. So keep watching. I will update you as I get more information.
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND PREVIEWS
The 1999 DS Festival in New York City is over. A full fest report with photos will be up shortly, but some things are too important to wait. First, be on the lookout for the second book in the HarperCollins Dark Shadows series now in stores. Titled Dreams of the Dark by Stephen Mark Rainey and Elizabeth Massie, it is a marvelous book. A full review will be up shortly.
But the really BIG news is that the cut scenes from Night of Dark Shadows, presumed missing for 28 years has been found! Though no release date has been set yet, an unedited version of NODS should be available soon! The edited version has often been panned by critics and fans for being completely indecipherable. Many scenes of flashbacks and important scenes explaining the climax of the movie were filmed, but cut when MGM decided the movie was too long. The only way fans could know the original story was through the script version. But now we will be able to see it as Dan Curtis envisioned it. So keep an eye out, and more info will be posted as it becomes available! Further news on NODS: While the missing footage had been found, some of the audio is missing. Luckily, all of Grayson Hall's audio was found, but several scenes with Lara Parker and David Selby are silent. According to Selby, both he and Parker have already committed to redubbing the missing audio tracks. No word on whether any of the other stars are needed or will be doing it. But this is one step closer to seeing a complete version of this film.
Great news for Dark Shadows fans! The Sci-Fi Channel is now running our favorite gothic soap opera again! With two episodes every Mon-Fri at 11am EST, it will take almost two years to complete the series. Though in a strange turn of events, they began with the conclusion of the Laura storyline instead of at Episode #1, so have already reached the introduction of Barnabas Collins. So keep watching and support DS!
"Who's Who"'s yet to come - I have started work on several different characters, and have no idea which one I will finish first. Possibilities include Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, Roger Collins, Count Andreas Petofi, David Collins, Victoria Winters and Quentin Collins. Or maybe someone else will strike me. Just keep watching!
