3 year old, 2-trunked Eucalyptus coccifera in my garden. This species does not grow as fast as some eucs.
Adult leaves of E. coccifera. The leaves are always small and may be glaucous with bright white stems such as these, or else they may be green.

Just for interest, a photo of Mt. Wellington itself. At only 4500' elevation, it is not a very large mountain by Northern Hemisphere standards. Photo courtesy of Luke Isham.
A young E. coccifera in a pot at Steamboat Island Nursery, Olympia, WA. It is just about the right size to go into the ground. This is a good pic of the general look of a seedling, though the juvenile leaves may be a little longer and narrower than this.

This tree by the Graham Visitor Center parking lot at the Washington Park Arboretum, Seattle, WA could be either E. tenuiramis or E. coccifera.
