My numerous trips between Olympia and Pullman have mostly been in the dark, but on a couple occasions I have stopped to take pictures.  This first set of pictures comes from near White Pass on US 12.

Blowing snow.
This photo of Mt. Rainier was taken from near the top of the White Pass ski area, which happens to be my favorite place for snowboarding.

The winter of 2001-02 saw a very healthy snowpack at Snoqualmie Pass.

The Best Western Hotel at Snoqualmie is conveniently located next to the Chevron station.
I think my Escort has high enough ground clearance to take on a little snowbank.
Sunset on the mountains near Snoqualmie Pass.
This and the following three pictures are from a winter hike near Snoqualmie Pass that I didn't actually go on, but it sure looks cool.  Photos by Kyle Strom.
