This enormous Kniphofia sp. came with the garden when we moved in. We have not been able to figure out what species or hybrid it is, but it is truly a monster - the pokers may grow as high as 9' in a hot summer. Photographed here after a heavy rain that knocked down a lot of the pokers. |
