A Royal Love (part 1)
It was morning in the Earth Kingdom. Everyone was still sleeping except those 
who ran market shops. At the castle where King Endymion and his son, Prince 
Darien, lived, all of the royal servants were busy at work getting breakfast 
ready for the young prince. His father was in the Armory preparing for a 
possible war against the Moon Kingdom. The Moon and Earth Kingdom has been 
feuding for years. The people of the Moon have a longer lifespan and an 
extremely powerful gem, the Imperium Silver Crystal. The people of Earth were 
very jealous, and wanted to kill Queen Serenity and her daughter, Princess 
Serena. Once that was finished, they would destroy the Moon Kingdom and take the 
Silver Crystal. Prince Darien was against destroying the Moon, but his father 
told him to stay out of the matter. Anyway, Darien was sleeping peacefully in 
his extra-large bed. All of a sudden, there was a flash of light and a second 
later, a girl with long, golden hair and a moon insignia on her forehead 
appeared. She was still wearing her nightgown, but she didn’t care. She is 
Princess Serena of the Moon Kingdom and she has fallen madly in love with the 
prince of Earth. She would often sneak away to Earth to see him, but he would 
never see her. Serena lay on the bed beside him and watched him sleep. “He’s so 
handsome,” she whispered to herself as she watched. She was becoming too 
comfortable and dozed off beside him. “THE MOON PRINCESS!” a royal guard yelled 
when he found Serena sleeping in the prince’s bed. Darien and Serena both shot 
up. “What?” Darien murmured when he saw Serena beside him. The guard sped to the 
bed and grabbed Serena’s arm, dragging her off the bed. “No, let me go!” Serena 
screamed as she struggled to escape his grasp. The guard held her tightly and 
dragged her out of the room. Darien was too dumbfounded to say anything as he 
watched Serena being dragged away. When he realized what had happened, he jumped 
out of bed and ran down the hall, still wearing his nightclothes. He stopped 
short when he heard his father talking in a room. “The Moon Princess, eh? 
Perfect! She’ll be the perfect bait for destroying the Moon Kingdom and taking 
the Silver Crystal!” the King said as he snickered. Darien had heard enough. He 
quickly appeared in the doorway and saw his father slam his gun handle down on 
Serena’s head, knocking her unconscious. Rage surged through Darien when he saw 
Serena crumple to the floor, and heard his father and two guards cackle loudly. 
He raced towards the small crowd, knocked the guards out of the way, and 
gathered Serena’s limp body in his arms. He glared at his father and asked,” 
Father, how could you?” The King was about to answer, but Darien stood up and 
carried Serena towards the door. “Son, you bring her back here!” his father 
warned. Darien stopped and replied “No, father. She will remain with me. You may 
fight your war, but I will not allow you to use this girl.” Before the king 
could reply, Darien carried her out of the room and gently lay her on his bed. 
As he sat beside her, a maid slowly walked in and asked if he wanted anything. 
He requested that she bring something for Serena’s head. The maid nodded and 
left the room. Darien looked back at Serena, lying in his bed, and slowly ran 
his fingers along her forehead, tracing her moon insignia. Then, he moved his 
hand down her face and caressed her cheek. She moved slightly and Darien watched 
as her eyes slowly opened. Darien flashed her a warm smile and whispered 
softly,” Hey there, are you alright?” She nodded slowly and realized where she 
was. She grew worried since Darien saw her and she started to get up. She became 
suddenly tired and flopped back down on the bed. The maid returned with a large 
silver tray with bandages and such on it. She set it on the table beside the bed 
and said,” Your majesty, it’s time for your shower.” “Alright, just a second,” 
he replied to her while he looked at Serena. “Will the miss be getting a 
shower?” she then asked. “Hmm?” Darien mumbled while still staring at Serena, 
enchanted by her beauty. “Sir?” the maid questioned when he mumbled his reply. 
Darien regained his mind and replied,” Uh, yes. That is, if she wants to.” 
Serena smiled and nodded. Darien took her hands and helped her up. The maid led 
Serena out of the room to get a shower. Darien sighed and took his shower. He 
got dressed and walked to the dining room for breakfast. As he sat down, two 
forms appeared in the doorway. He stood back up as one of the forms walked 
towards him. Serena, who is now wearing a gorgeous gown, appeared out of the 
darkness. Darien stared at her and grinned. She blushed and fiddled with her 
dress. Darien walked to her and took her hand, leading her to a seat. He took 
his seat and they ate breakfast. Back on the Moon, the Queen became extremely 
worried because of the disappearance of her daughter. Her only explanation was 
that someone from Earth took her. So she used the power of the Silver Crystal to 
disrupt the Earth’s weather patterns, and sent many violent storms tearing 
around the planet. Darien and Serena witnessed these storms, and Serena knew it 
was her mother. She told Darien that she must return to the Moon so she could 
stop her mother. “If your mother finds out that you came here voluntarily, she 
might not let you come back. I want to see you again,” he told her sadly. Then, 
she got up and walked towards him. He stood up and she wrapped her arms around 
him. Happiness grew within him as she held him, and he slowly slid his arms 
around her. While he was holding her, he saw a large bruise on Serena’s head 
where his father had hit her. He sent silent curses at his father for hurting 
her. Serena pulled away, stared into his eyes and said,” Maybe if you come with 
me, and Mom sees that you’re nice and not against the Moon, she’ll like you!” He 
smiled and nodded. Serena took his hands and concentrated. They both disappeared 
with a flash of light. They reappeared on the Moon and in Serena’s room. Darien 
looked out her window, saw Earth and exclaimed,” Wow! That’s quite a view!” 
Serena smiled, and led him out of her room and down the hall. They went to the 
balcony where Queen Serenity was weeping mournfully. When the couple approached 
her, she stopped and looked at them. She stood up and held Serena in her arms, 
now crying tears of joy. Serena told her mother what had happened and why Darien 
was here. The Queen thanked him for bringing Serena back and that he was welcome 
to come to the Moon anytime. He thanked her and said,” I want to end the war 
between the Moon and Earth Kingdom. Will you come with me and talk to my 
father?” Serenity nodded and left with Darien. A few hours later, Serena heard a 
knock on her bedroom door and Darien walked in, grinning. He lay on her bed 
beside her and took her in his arms. “The war is over,” he whispered softly in 
her ear. Serena looked up at him innocently and whispered back,” Is it?” He 
nodded and added,” Our parents want to bring the two kingdoms together through 
us with the bond of marriage!” Serena opened her eyes wide then hugged him 
gently, burying her face in his chest. He smiled and gently kissed her forehead. 
“Serena,” he said and she looked up. “I have to go back to Earth,” he told her, 
smiling. She nodded and released his torso. He stood up and said,” You can come 
to Earth whenever you want though.” She smiled and replied,” And I shall.” He 
took her hand and kissed it and said,” Farewell, my princess.” She blushed and 
replied,” Good night, my prince.” Darien disappeared with a flash of light. He 
returned to his room and flopped onto his bed, sighing happily. He and Serena 
would be married in three days.
A Royal Love (Part 2)
The next day, Serena went to the market, which is located in front of King 
Endymion’s castle. She was walking around, enjoying the sights, when she 
accidentally bumped into a boy. The boy was about her age and had white hair, 
but secretly he was one of the two princes of the Dark Moon kingdom, Nemesis. 
Nemesis went from planet to planet seeing which of them had a strong power 
source, and then it would conquer the stronger ones. This prince was Prince 
Diamond and he was scouting the Earth to check its power source. After the 
Earth, they would conquer the moon. Anyway, Serena and Diamond mumbled their 
apologies and continued walking. Diamond spun around and stared at Serena as she 
walked on. He quickly ran up to her and said,” Excuse me, ma’am?” She turned and 
looked at him in question. “I was in such a hurry that I never had the chance to 
introduce myself. I’m Pri…..Diamond,” he said quickly. She smiled and replied,” 
I’m Serena.” They talked for awhile and Diamond asked if Serena would join him 
for lunch. She agreed and told him to meet her in one hour. He said “ok” and 
watched her walk off. Sapphire, the other prince of the Dark Moon, ran up behind 
Diamond and exclaimed,” Hey, bro! What’s up?” Diamond didn’t respond because he 
was still staring at Serena. Sapphire saw Serena and said,” Nice chick, eh?” 
Diamond grew angry and yelled,” Chick?!? She’s no chick!” Sapphire raised his 
eyebrow and asked,” Then, what is she?” Diamond looked back towards Serena and 
replied,” She…is an angel.” Diamond told Sapphire how they met and about the 
upcoming date. Sapphire laughed, and told him that she is the Moon Princess and 
that she is engaged to Prince Darien. Diamond grew sad and fell to his knees. An 
evil grin soon crossed his face and he quickly got back to his feet. Sapphire 
grinned and asked what he was planning. “I am going to take Serena to Nemesis 
before she is wed to Prince Darien. If he gets in the way, I’ll kill him. I 
always get everything I want…..everything,” he said with an evil grin still on 
his face. Sapphire nodded and added,” If so, it will have to be soon. They wed 
in two days!” Sapphire disappeared, and Diamond went to get ready for his date. 
When Serena came back, Diamond became very nervous. They walked towards a 
restaurant. Suddenly, a small, black cat with a moon insignia on her forehead 
appeared. She meowed and Serena understood. She apologized and said that she had 
to go. She left with the cat and disappeared. Diamond sighed and went back to 
Nemesis, muttering,” Soon, my sweet, you’ll be mine!”
This portion and the next will become confusing so here is a key to keep ya 
going.

A Royal Love: Part 3
The next day, Prince Diamond was sitting in his palace on Nemesis. Sapphire was 
with him and they were discussing the plan to get Serena. "How do you plan to do 
this?" Sapphire asked. Diamond grinned and replied," I'll transform into her 
beloved Prince Darien and marry her, then she'll rightfully be mine!" Sapphire 
agreed and pulled out his necklace, which had a small portion of the Dark 
Crystal on it. He, then, yelled," Dark Crystal Transform!" A bright light 
surrounded Diamond and he took the form of Darien. They both snickered and 
disappeared with a flash of light. They reappeared in Prince Darien's castle. 
Sapphire looked around and asked," What now?" Diamond, in the form of Darien, 
replied," We gotta get the real Darien out of the way! Then, Serena will be all 
mine!" Sapphire thought for a moment and exclaimed," I know! We'll transform him 
into you! Then, she'll stay away from him!" "Yes, that's what we'll do," 
~Darien~ said and cracked an evil grin. Both brothers walked down the corridor 
until they saw a lighted room up ahead. Sapphire peeked in the doorway followed 
by ~Darien~. "There he is," Sapphire said, grinning. Darien was standing in 
front of a mirror, trying on his tuxedo for tomorrow's wedding. Sapphire snuck 
up on Darien's left side and ~Darien~ snuck up on his right side, surrounding 
him. Darien heard movement and turned, seeing them. "Damn it! Get him!" ~Darien~ 
yelled, and Sapphire jumped on Darien, pinning him down. ~Darien~ used his third 
eye to paralyze him. Darien struggled under Sapphire and asked," Wha….What do 
you want?" ~Darien~ grinned down at him and replied," You have something, or 
should I say, someone that I want and I intend to get!" Darien ceased his 
struggling enough to ask," Yo….You mean Serena, don't you?" He, then, struggled 
frantically while yelling," Never! You'll never have her!" ~Darien~ closed his 
third eye and gave Darien a good, swift kick in the head, knocking him 
unconscious. Sapphire took out his necklace again and yelled," Dark Crystal 
Transform!" Darien slowly took the form of Diamond. "Does he still have his 
memory?" ~Darien~ asked. "Nope, I'll take him to our castle just in case," 
Sapphire replied, and he and ~Diamond~ disappeared. ~Darien~ left the castle and 
walked to the market where Serena is. He pushed through the crowds and saw 
Serena by a flower cart. He strolled up to her and exclaimed," Hello, 
sweetheart! Isn't it a lovely day?" She turned, smiled at him and replied." 
Hello, my love! Yes, it is very lovely today!" He wrapped his arms around her 
and asked," Are you picking out flowers for our wedding?" She smiled and said," 
No, I was just looking. I can't wait until tomorrow!" " Neither can I," he 
replied, laughing quietly under his breath. "Can we go back to your castle? I 
want to spend time with my fiancée!," she said as she slid her arms around his 
neck. He nodded and swept her up into his arms, then carried her to his castle. 
He wandered aimlessly within, not knowing where he was going. Serena thought 
that he was playing around and motioned for him to set her down. He did so, and 
she led him into his room. He closed the door behind him as she flopped down on 
his bed. He slowly walked towards her, and she stared at him with her deep, blue 
eyes. He couldn't resist any longer. He flopped on his bed beside her, pulled 
her on top of him, and kissed her deeply. She wrapped her arms around his neck, 
kissing him back. Then, he rolled over and was now on top of her. He pressed 
against her and kissed her deeper. Serena knew what would happen next so she 
quickly pulled away. "What's wrong?" he asked when he felt her lips leave his. 
"We shouldn't do this yet, we're supposed to wait until we are already married," 
she said solemnly. "I suppose you're right," he replied with a sigh, then 
added," I'm sorry, sweetheart." He bent over and gently kissed her forehead. She 
blushed and looked away. He gently held her chin, pulled her to face him and 
stared back into her eyes. "So beautiful….," he murmured under his breath as he 
pressed warm kisses along her neck. "Oh, Darien," she whispered, becoming 
weakened with passion. She put her arms around his shoulders and pulled him 
closer. They were too busy to notice Luna, who just walked in and sat beside the 
door. ~Darien~ continued to kiss her neck, and slid his hand to her leg, 
clutching her thigh. He slowly started to inch her dress up with his fingers as 
he kissed lower down her neck. When Luna saw Serena's legs becoming exposed, she 
screamed," Nooo!" They both pulled away and looked at her. She quickly ran over 
to the bed, pulled Serena's dress back over her legs, and jumped on the bed, 
putting herself between them. "You two aren't allowed to do this yet! You have 
to wait until your wedding night!" she screamed frantically. "I can wait," 
~Darien~ said and winked at Serena. She blushed and looked away. Luna sneezed 
and said," Serena, we need to go home!" Serena nodded, said her good-byes, and 
left with Luna. "Damn that annoying cat!" ~Darien~ cursed and shook his fist. He 
sighed and decided to go to sleep. Back on Nemesis, ~Diamond~ wandered around 
the palace. He came to a window, and a full moon beamed down at him. Then, a 
bright, yellow beam shot from the moon and ended in the middle of his forehead. 
He suddenly remembered his father, his home, and his true love, Serena. He, 
then, looked down and remembered about Diamond. "No, Serena! I've got to get to 
her!" he yelled and ran to a room with many portals within. He saw the 
one-labeled "Moon" and walked into it, disappearing with a flash of light. He 
appeared on the Moon and immediately ran towards the castle. Two guards stopped 
him and dragged him towards the dungeon. "Wait, I know the Moon Princess!" he 
told them. They just laughed and threw him in the cell.
