Well, the name says it all, doesn't it? Hello, I'm AGNES MOOREHEAD and I'M GOD! Divahood strikes at different times for different divas...Yes, Dame Diva is a fickle deity. Yet in the case of Miss Moorehead, late is better than never, and she is undoubtably a Diva Archetype of some sort. For though she had firmly established herself as a shining star in the acting firmament (even earning a total of 4 Academy Award nominations), it was not until the age of 58 that the Fates deemed her ready to play the role of Endora, for which she must be endlessly worshipped. That hair, that make-up, those fabulous gowns, and that ATTITUDE! Was this acting, or simply channeling some uber-dragqueen from another dimension? Does it even matter? (Incidently, because of her purple dressing room for "Bewitched", Miss Moorehead was nicknamed "The Lavender Lady". How can you not love THAT?)
