Yes, Yes, Nanette!

Nanette Fabray is without question a ForgottenDiva. We'll bet you forgot all about her until just now! We, however, think about her constantly. She only made a handful of films (most notably "Band Wagon") and has worked primarily on television, winning Emmys for "The Sid Caesar Show". She was perfectly cast as the mothers of both Mary Richards (on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show") and Ann Romano ("One Day at a Time"); recently, on "Coach", she played the mother of her real-life neice, Shelley Fabares! Hearing-impaired most of her life, Miss Fabray has long been an advocate for the handicapped, receiving numerous humanitarian awards along the way. But the true proof of her Divine Divaness is that, in 1978, she appeared in the made-for-TV movie "Harper Valley PTA", with that other cultural icon, Barbara Eden. Need we say more?

NANETTE FABRAY IS A DIVA NOT TO BE DEALT WITH LIGHTLY!!!
