Ever since I started playing the French Horn seriously, I began to think about what it would be like to start performing professionally. I began to play more and compete more and my dream began to expand. The first step of that dream is to attend The Boston Conservatory in Boston and get my Bachelor's Degree in music performance. My ULTIMATE dream is to one day play with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. It would be great if I could play with the Boston Pops under the Guest conductorship of Mr. John Williams himself but for now I will settle for what I can get. I know this will take a lot of intense practice. I can hardly wait to start working...start? What am I talking about? I started working on this dream almost eight years ago when I picked up a pile of metal they call the French Horn.
A little note from the creator of the page: 4/6/99..Very Congrats today Vanessa. I got your message on my machine when I got in. You have achieved one of your all-time dreams so far of being accepted into the Boston Conservatory. I knew you had it in you, and you knew damn well you had it in you with as well with all the talent that you have obtained. You never let anything get in the way of this one goal. So what's the next goal? huh? I am so proud of you. May our wonderful GOD be with you in the next couple of years and may he bless and watch over you in Boston. Vanessa, continue to believe in our GOD because he is a great man, and I know you will succeed with the talent that he has given you. May GOD bless you and your future.
