1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2/3 cup cocoa powder
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 bag (12 oz.) white chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 deg. In an electric mixer bowl,
cream butter and gradually add
sugar; mix in eggs (one at a time), vanilla, salt, and baking
soda. Mix well. Slowly
mix in cocoa powder, and flour; mix until dough comes together.
(don't over mix the flour). Stir in white
chocolate chips. Place rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto
ungreased cookie
sheet. Place in oven and turn oven down to 350 deg.
and bake for 8 minutes (DO NOT OVERBAKE).
Remove from oven and let stand for a minute or two; remove from
cookie sheets and set on
plain paper or glass plates and let cool. Cookies will firm up as
they cool.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
