2 c. salad dressing
1 tsp. curry powder
1 box (11 oz.) quick barley
4 1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped pimento or sweet red pepper
1 c. frozen peas (do not thaw)
2 c. cooked beef or ham, chopped
Combine salad dressing and curry powder. Mix well and let stand.
Cook barley in boiling water for 15 minutes. Drain and blanch with
cold water, draining well.
Add remaining ingredients. Add salad dressing and mix well.
Let stand for several hours. Makes 10 or 12 servings.
