Jenise Blanc was born in New York and lived in New York City most of her life.  After many trips between the two coasts, she has called Los Angeles her home since 1991.

Jenise's daughter Jennifer, is an actress who lives in Los Angeles as well.  Randy, Jenise's husband is a musician composer and media artist who she met in Los Angeles.

Jenise attended "People's Choice" awards with Jennifer, where Jennifer's show "Dark Angel" won the award for Best New Drama!

Jenise has traveled all over the world with her daughter Jennifer.  She was in Mexico with Jennifer while her daughter was taping a show for E!  Channel called, "FYE".  This show was to celebrate the opening of a new hotel in Mexico city called, "Habita."

At one time Jenise's work centered around the fact that she is her daughter's business adviser.  This kept her very active.  Jennifer had a major role in the Fox television series, "Dark Angel" which aired every Tuesday at 9 PM Pacific Standard Time on Fox channel 11.  In this series, Jennifer played Kendra, the roommate of the main character, Max, played by Jessica Alba.  The sci-fi thriller is written by James Cameron, Charles H. Eglee and produced by James Cameron, Charles H. Eglee and Rae Sanchini.

Jenise has worked from the beginning of Jennifer's career as her business adviser and stage mother going on auditions, acting as a liaison to managers and agents and accompanying Jennifer on tours.  Jenise has been busy taking care of Jennifer's business affairs, acting as liaison between the star and her representatives in the film world, including managers, agents and publicity people.

Jenise and Jennifer spent one summer at Stage Door Manor where Jenise taught modeling and put on fashion shows while Jennifer won several awards and signed with Jean Fox as her manager.

Jenise is currently putting all her efforts into her latest brainstorm, "Canyon Car Service" which is a car service that gives people rides to and from airports, takes people for rides on "Nite on the Town," takes people to restaurants, picks up children from school or after school, takes people to medical appointments or picks up their cars in the shop as well as party shuttles for events such as the Film Festivals, etc.  The party shuttling is also used for personal parties in the Canyon - getting guests from designated places to their parties.

Jenise and Randy received the award for the "Best Home Based Business in Topanga in 2004," given by the Topanga Chamber of Commerce.  They received certificates and plaques from the State Senate, State Assembly and Lost Hills Police Department.  Jenise was just sworn in as a board member for the Topanga Chamber of Commerce for 2006.

Jenise went to many schools and took business courses, drawing, acting and dance.  Her education included attendances at Oswego State in NY, Boston University, Marymount College, Hunter, Fashion Institute of Technology and the New School.  She received a certificate from New York Interior Design School to practice Interior Design.  In Los Angeles, Jenise took film courses from UCLA and received a business certificate for Small Business Management and Marketing at the Allied Business School.  She also took courses at Pierce College and the Learning Annex.

She's taken voice in New York at Bob Colliers School and Improvisation with Kathy Kinney of the Drew Carey show, as well as commercial courses  with Lisa Pantone and Improvisation with Tim Colsieri in LA, among others.  Jenise also finished a Production for TV and Film course with Robert Kester at the UCLA Extension.

Jenise also advised and performed weddings with her husband, Randy. They often officiate the ceremonies themselves, since they both have credentials to perform wedding ceremonies.

Jenise is a former model who has appeared in two fashion shows of world famous clothing designer, Mona Li.  Jenise started doing commercials for her dad's ad agency as a teen-ager.  She eventually did print ads, fashion shows, coliseum shows, lots of in-store modeling and fittings as well. She later got interested in Make-up and cosmetics - She was a make-up artist - worked for the Make-up Union as well as Cosmetic companies like Estee Lauder and Prescriptives. She carried her own cosmetic label and owned a franchise called "The New York Make-Up Center."

Since Jenise loves clothing, she has a natural flair for putting together outfits and styles.  She has shopped with quite a few clients who swear that they couldn't have done it alone.  She can be and frequently is hired to shop and help put an outfit or wardrobe together and familiarize clients with just the appropriate places to go to and what to buy when they get there.

She worked for Delta Airlines, but mostly her endeavors were entrepreneurial.

Jenise worked as a sales rep for some pharmaceutical companies and in 1987 opened her own medical supply company called B & B Medical Supply Company.  The company carries pain relief items such as TENS units, Micro-Current Devices and Muscle Stimulators.  The company ran strong for 18 years but Jenise still has doctors' offices and health agencies calling her for her personalized service.

When Jennifer was starting to gain experience in acting, she and her mother traveled together on a national tour of Neil Simon's Brighten Beach Memoirs:  When that show ended, Jennifer continued on Broadway on 46th St playing the role of Laurie.  Brighten Beach Memoirs was directed by Gene Saks and written by Neil Simon.  Jennifer continued to be in quite a number of off Broadway Plays.

Jennifer appeared in the first 13 episodes of "Party of Five," then went on to "Grace Under Fire," "Providence," "Early Edition,"  She spent three years with the "The Mommies,"  Films and movies were "The Ride" co-starring with Michael Biehn, " Dead Men Can't Dance" with Michael Biehn and good friend Adrian Paul, "The Cool and The Crazy" co-starring with Alicia Silverstone, a made for TV movie "Friends ŒTil The End" co-starring with Shannon Doherty, "Dead at 21," "Lifetime" specials etc.  Jennifer also does commercials and has performed many voice over roles, some of which are for films like "The Crow."  Jenise and Jennifer took a private jet to Cannes to attend a screening of the film, "Fish Without A Bicycle," a film which Jennifer starred in.   This film was later shown in movie theaters and is now on DVD.  Jennifer has starred in other independent films, including "Three Wishes," "West of Brooklyn," and a recent episode of "CSI."

Jenise has an extra been on lots of TV and film sets.  She was called to play Mona Lisa for "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch".  She occasionally did stand-in work, sometimes for her daughter. She's worked for "The Pretender," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "The Mommies," "Cousin Skeeter," "Providence," "Rocky and Bulwinkle," "Show Girls," "Seven," "Fish Without A Bicycle," "Dark Angel," "Three Wishes," "West of Brooklyn," "Space Cowboys," "What Planet Are You From?," "Hanging Up" and others.  She was a stand-in for the character of Tara in the Movie of the Week for FOX directed by and starring Jason Priestley and Jenise's daughter Jennifer, which also featured Nicolas Leas from the "XFILES" and Holt McCaloney (who was in the film "Jade" with Michael Biehn).

Jenise is best friends with both her daughter Jennifer and with her husband Randy.  She loves living in Topanga Canyon.  Her parents live in Florida.  Her sister lives in Virginia and her brother lives in New York with his family.  Jenise and Randy have a bichon poodle named Collette.  They are crazy about her.

Jenise loves to shop, eat, out, travel and go to fine hotels.  Every year she spends her birthday at Big Sur, a place that she loves very much.  They have recently taken to going to the south of France for their anniversary.  She loves clothing and is very creative with putting outfits together.  

Jenise loves music (especially oldies) and got smitten with her husband when he was in the Lovin'Spoonful.  He is now working on a CD of original songs and has a recording studio and multi media company called "Nano Muse."  Randy teaches private music lessons to all ages and has quite a following.  

Jenise and Jennifer had a clothing store in Hollywood named Blancs.   They decorated the store to the hilt, carried shoes, pants, jeans, teas, tops, hats, jewelry, boots and other accessories.   It was fun and tastefully done.  They also had a second level for vintage and even cosmetics with an artist there at all times.  Jenise and Jennifer had promotions and trunk shows and carried lots of designer and trendy clothes.  They had Dave Edwards come in quite regularly to take pictures and post them on Daily Celeb on the web.

Jennifer is totally focused on her career as an actress.  She is also teaching an acting workshop once a week in Topanga.

Now Jenise is focused only on her company Canyon Car Service, which caters to hundreds of clients, mostly from Topanga and also from Malibu, Calabasas, Pacific Palisade and surrounding areas.

Jenise has exercised her whole life.  Her regular exercise for years has been weight training with her trainer Karen Simer. She loves swimming and does hatha yoga.  She meditates twice a day without fail.

Jenise, Jennifer and Randy all believe in alternative healing.   They believe in seeing healers, massage therapists, acupuncturists and others in the alternative healing arts profession on a regular basis.
