Johnny No Name concert on April 9th 2000 here in NYC

Me (Kathy) and Heather went to the Last Johnny No Name concert here in New York City April 9th 2000, held In Irving Plaza. Since I knew that It was general admission only, I asked my father to drive me there early in the morning. Well, we got there around 8-am In the morning. I stood outside Irving Plaza In the COLD, RAIN & SNOW! can you believe it, it SNOWED!!. It sucked!!! I can't believe I put myself through hell for each BSB! But anyway, I stood out there all day until 4-PM when My father brought my bro to wait online, while I went back home so I can eat and change to my new cloths! I was soooo red! I was so cold! I literally couldn't feel my fingers!
So, when I went back to wait in line, Heather was there waiting in line! Anyway, to make a LONG LONG UGLY Bad story short...When heather and I were waiting outside Irving Plaza, AJ popped his head out the window and all the girls started pushing and screaming!, these girls cut inline, In the concert I was getting runned down by all these girls who were pushing soooo hard I almost asked security to left me out of the floor so I can leave.
But I held on! I stood all throughout that hell! I tried to enjoy the concert! I sang to all the songs AJ did and I tried to enjoy myself! I got pushed from 4th row to 7th row, then I got pushed back into 5th row, then I made it to 3rd row until I ended up in the 2 second row.
AJ did an awesome concert! The opening acts (Mindi Abair & Nobodys Angel)were fantastic! He was wonderful and he sang the rock (Stone Temple Pilots) and soft (Lay down beside me) songs mad cool! The only part I hated were all these stupid girls from the back pushing towards the front! That sucked!
When we entered Irving Plaza, Heather and I were holding each others arms so we wouldn't seperate because we knew that the crowd will push us apart! but during the beginning part of the concert, the crowd was to strong that Heather and I seperated! She ended up all the way from 4th row to 10th row. But she told me she had a Great View except for the few minutes this tall big guy was infront of her (but then he moved). Anyway she saw AJ and Howie and she also showed me her pictures from the concert! She took some great pictures!
I remember towards the end of the concert, I made my way up to 2 row and I tried to look behind me to look for Heather and I saw her and She saw me!! After the concert and we were standing outside waiting for my dad, she asked me "How did you end up in 2row?" & "Why do you always end up towards the front?" we came up with the conclusion that i'm such a fan that i'll try and do anyway to get to the front, Plus lots of girls were fainting and each time a girl fainted or left the crowd, i'll take there spot! LOL
Memorable moments:
*When I went to the 2nd row, AJ was throwing water at the audience, and guess what happened! YUP! AJ throws the water at me ONCE AGAIN! I mean, whats up with AJ's water and me? In the Backstreet concert, he threw water at me and now his Johnny No Name concert he throws water at me again!! I LOVED IT!!
*When AJ was making fun of the other "boy bands" out in the market today. One of the things he said, was that when BSB's new album was going to come out "Nsync will go BYE BYE BYE!"
*SPIKE (one of the band members) HE was sooooo HOT!! Heather and I were checking him out! LOL anyway, he had a T-Shirt that said N SUCK!!! LOL
*WHEN HOWIE CAME OUT!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! Him and AJ did a Fast dance and a SLOW MOTION dance!!!! It was hot!!!!!!!
*When Nobodys Angel, Howie and AJ were all in stage together and they did a song together! That was Mad cool!
*WHen AJ made fun of the BSB's nicknames! even his nickname!!!
*When Johnny left and AJ came out with NO SHirt! He was wearing only jeans and socks! LOL!
*WHEN AJ HUMPED THE FLOOR!!!!!YES LADIES! AJ DID THE HUMP THE FLOOR BIT FOR US NEW YORK FANS!
*When AJ tried to break the Guitar, and he couldn't!! LOL
*When AJ and Howie were HANDCUFFED together by the guard and were led out of the stage! I wont ever forget moment! Howie and AJ had a friendly smile in there faces cause of how glad they must have been to see they both did a terrific job and how much the Fans loved to see them performing together (and handcuffed together) AJ and Howie handcuffed together...Every girls fantasy!
*When Mindi Abair and Johnny were doing "Lay down beside me" as a duet, and how MINDI kicked AJ's butt when she sang in her saxophone and beat him in the verse "mmmmmmmmmmeeeeeaaaahhhhh"!. She sure showed him!! GO MINDI!!!
*When Johnny was teasing the crowd of fans that he was going to get naked! LOL in his little English Accent! That was so cute!
"I'd like to get naked"
"Do you want me to get naked in the end of the concert?"
"I feel very naugthy"
*When Tommy's duck Guido, is Girlfriend was introduced to the crowd by Johnny. Her name was Guidette. Johhny said "Guido is not going to be alone tonight." "But i'm going to be alone tonight!" Every girl was screaming for him to take her home or that they'll keep him company that night!!!! Even I was saying that! but then he smiled and said somthing like, he'll manage & that he was just joking.
And so soo so much more moments! I have it all written in my diary!
But anyway, I hope yall enjoy the pix I scanned from that great Concert!!

This picture in the Right is when Johnny first came eout before the Opening acts to intoduce himself, and the opening acts, which were Mindi Abair and Nobodys Angel. He also asked the people from the back to please take one step back! He was so hot! I love his Jacket! It looks so good on him!

Mindi opened first. She was so cool! I loved her songs! I can relate to the "FREE" song she sang! That song was so meaningful to me, and I am sure to others in the concert

This is another pic I took of Mindi. She kept saying hi to the crowd and waving at peeps who waved at her.I think she looks so pretty in pink. I love the pink tips. I want to do that to my hair, only with the color red.

These girls were also cool. I didn't really care much for there songs. But they sang It well. BUT one of the girls scared Heather and I! She had a MAD big smile and she had these scary eyes! All we know is that she looked really psychotic! But she sang alright to.

HERESSS JOHNNY!--->
Now, the pix you've been waiting to see, YES JOHNNY NO NAME! aka AJ Mclean! He looks SOO GOOD in this picture! He makes those Cowboy hats LOOK GOOD! Becuase of him, now the new trend is Cowboy hats! You should have seen the girls waiting In line, the majority of them were wearing cowboys hats! I think AJ is singing "Down" by Stone Temple Pilots in this picture! By the way, he sang that song SOOO WELL!!! He almost sounded like Scott from STP!













SMOOTH
I tried to take one picture of each song Johnny did. I think he is singing the beginning words to "Lay down beside me" here. Well AJ looks sooo FINE!































Bad To The Bone--->
AJ sang the song "Bad To The Bone". Well, when he was introducing the next song he was going to sing, he said he was also going to play a guitar in this song but he also mentioned that he didn't know how to play a guitar that well so he was going to play a 2 STRING GUITAR! That was funny! Anyway, towards the end of the song, AJ took off the guitar strap that was holding the guitar to him and he was trying to break the guitar. He tried like 3 or 4 times, but the guiar wouldn't break. Like maybe it dented or little pieces broke off. So he just threw the guitar off the stage! that was funny also! LOL!




















Sweat
Yes AJ, be SEXY! LOL. Robyn,(Heathers sister) had this to say about my concert pictures..
"look Heather, you can actually see his SWEAT in Kathy's pictures!". He is just GORGEOUS!!!!

Don't Don't Want You Back - Hey Mr D-jay!
He sang Hey Mr DJ with Don't Want You Back. I liked the remix he did for "Hey Mr DJ". I heard the remix wasn't good, but when I heard it, it sounded cool. I totally liked it! I liked when Spike sang "Don't Don't Want You Back" in that little black intercom! That was cute! Did i mentioned Me and Hather thought SPIKE was HOT???!!!!??? but Johnny was WAY hotter!!!!
