This is my first attempt at a homepage so keep watching as I learn the tricks and make this a better place. By the time this site is finished I hope to include links to my friends and those people that have helped me most. I hope to have shown you what makes me the person that I am, and introduce you to the people that I love.
This is me fall of 98..
I'm not gonna bore you with too many details...*grin*....For those of you who don't know me, my real name is Mary. I was born in Quebec, Canada, but no, I am not French. Well I can read alot of it but can't speak it very well. Our family moved to British Columbia when I was 9. And...I have lived in B.C. ever since. In addition to coming across this rather large country I have done a bit of travelling on this continent and have to tell you....we all have alot to be appreciative living in North America. A great expression is "Home is where you hang your hat." I think I could hang my hat just about anywhere.....as long as you are happy, what else matters? Another of my favourites is borrowed from a great song, "The best things in life are free." Which brings me to....
Other than those people who will soon be mentioned, my biggest love in life is nature. I think the one great thing that we can all fall back on no matter what else happens is the beauty that surrounds us. Even for those of you who live in cities, there is always the sky above you. In the early morning sunrise, and the sunset at night, in the stars above you..... and that big ol' happy moon.
I enjoy many hobbies including fishing, and camping in the summer and snowmobiling and cross country skiing in the winter. Indoors (and only if I have to be!!) I love to do crafts and have sewn, knit, crochetted, painted, etc. many winter hours away. I am currently putting together a booklet of quilt patterns for babies that were my design. And of course, I spend a few hours on here surfing around and learning as much as I can. *grin*
For now that is all I am going to say......hopefully this page will be changing so please keep coming back. Lol...see you!!
