One of the biggest problems that has always faced the "public" BDSM community is finding venues where play can be had, without fear of offending the general public or incurring negative attention. The Other Side has always strived to provide space where its Members and Guests can "let loose", and enjoy the kinds of play they really like to do. We have had some wonderful play spaces in our time, but have been plagued by the unreliable nature of these places. We cannot blame a landlord for turning down a "one night per month" customer in favour of a long-term lease.
Well, we fixed the problem! The birth of PURGATORY!!!, Vancouver's first full-time BDSM Club, with The Other Side as its primary client, has created a space beyond our wildest dreams. PURGATORY!!! is located at 3rd Floor, 1870 Pandora Street, Vancouver, B.C.

Here's a chance to use the stuff you probably don't have at home. But then, some of you probably
do! Purgatory features two A-frames, spanking benches, hanging table, suspension apparatus,
whipping posts, a "medical room", and more.
"Play-Safe" Environment.
In order to provide a clean and comfortable play environment, "Play-Safe" rules are in effect. The "Barrier Rule"
will be enforced for insertion and contact. Gloves, dams, condoms, lube,
10% bleach solution, bio-waste bags, sharps containers, waste baskets and paper towels
will be provided in quantity. Please use them.

Club Management and Dungeon Monitors reserve the right to remove persons who are disorderly, inappropriate, or intoxicated.
Non-Smoking Play Space
In consideration of all, the actual play area of PURGATORY!!! has been designated
as Non-Smoking. Cigarette smoking is permitted in the Lounge Area.
Cigar and pipe smoking are not permitted in the building. Cigarettes are not available for purchase,
so remember to bring enough! The nearest 24-hour store is several blocks away.
Refreshments Available
A refreshment bar is available, offering soft drinks, regular and specialty coffees, snacks,
fresh fruit, bottled water, juices, and other goodies. Because BDSM is enough of a "high"
without artificial assistance, alcoholic beverages are not offered.
Substance-Free Zone
Alcoholic beverages or drugs are not permitted in the building.
Adults Only!!!
We support the belief that anything safe and sane is OK between consenting adults.
Accordingly, no-one under the age of 19 will be admitted. No exceptions.
ID may be required before entry, so if you look young, bring it.
Photography Rules
Out of consideration for the privacy of others, still or video photography is
prohibited at all Mack VIII events. Film will be confiscated.
