This was on the Hit List(it aired in October 1999, but was shot earlier), and it amuses me so I wrote it out (complete with captions, which are in brackets..). the host was Exan, for all you hitlist fans...
Exan: Do a lot of fans throw teddy bears and gifts up on stage while you're performing?
Aaron: uh-huh
E: So what happens and what do you do with all those teddy bears?
A: Well the only thing I keep is beanie babies.
E: oh yeah! That's right! 'cause you collect them...
A: uh-huh. i got a couple today, actually.
E: oh you did? how many are you up to now?
A: not much, like, 120.
E: not much? 120! 120! that's a lot! and still counting, so keep them coming fans!
**************************************************************************** E: Aaron's working on a new album too. What can you tell us about it? You've already started recording some songs, right?
A: uh...yeah.. I've got a new song called 'girl you shine'....
E: And what's it about?
A: ummmmm...?.... The lyrics go " I see you everyday, But I can't seem to think of anything to say,
E: awww..
A: baby, how can that be It breaks my heart when you're smiling at me"
E: So, I hear you have a crush on Britney Spears, is that true?
A: uh-huh..
(Exan turns to the camera and gives it this " wow! isn't this great!" look)
E: Have you met her yet?
A: uh-uh
E: No? I'VE met her ( she says it in a valley girl voice; almost as if she's bragging) She's REALLY pretty in person and super-sweet and super-nice.
**************************************************************************** E: This new record that you're working on, what about the rumored duet that your supposed to record with your big bro Nick?
A: It's been planned, but we don't know when we're going to do it.
E: You don't even know if it'll be on the record or not, right?
A: umm... Hopefully it will.
E: okay, do you know, or have any idea what the song is going to be called? or anything like that? Is it going to be a cover?
(Aaron is now quite content playing with the two draw strings on his jacket, weaving them in and out of each other)
A: We don't know yet.
E: you don't know yet.
E: I also heard that you recorded a cover of the song "sugar sugar". Have you done that yet?
A: uh-huh!
E: You're pretty close to Brian too, right?
A: um-hmm, yeah.
E: Why do you think you and Brian get along so well?
A: I don't know. He's just, I like him, he's a nice guy. and AJ too. AJ's my favourite guy. (okay, is this just me, or shouldn't he like his BROTHER best?)
E: Oh yeah? does AJ play basketball too?
A: Sometimes ( he looks like he's not really sure, like he's just saying this so he doesn't sound stupid)...yeah...
E: Who's the best basketball player out of all three of them?
A: (looks pained, possibly at the thought of the beating Nick will give him when he sees this) I'd have to say Brian.
E: yeah?
A: yeah. Nick would kill me but...

Okay, here we are again. Again, the Hit List host is Exan. Aaron looks MUCH older, even though this is only a little over a year later than at the last interview, and he seems more confident and speaks clearer now. He's almost exactly a Mini-Nick. "Mini-Nick you complete me". Sounds like a good idea for a movie, eh?

Aaron: Hello (says it in a freaky girl's voice)
E: And it's been quite awhile - your fans miss you!
A: yeah, I know.
E: They missed you for sure.
A: oh yeah.
E: But you've been busy working, right?
A: yes I have, I just finished my 2nd album two days ago.
E: And when is it going to be out?
A: uhh... somewhere around June.
E: And we don't have a name yet?
A: No.
**************************************************************************** E: (pointing to Aaron) so you know what, Aaron has grown a lot since we last saw each other. Lets get up-
A: all right
E: and show your fans at home , I'm cheating, too, because I've got platforms on. I'll take 'em off and we can see (she takes off one shoe and drops down to Aaron's level, Aaron also takes off one of HIS shoes). Your almost my height now! (Aaron looks her up and down ) Oh my gosh, here we go. (Aaron laughs estatically at the fact that exan is almost his height) Yep, next time I see you, I'm sure you'll be taller than me. So you must be, what, 5 foot 1?
A: How tall are you?
E: I'm 5 foot 9 (she's clearly only about 5 foot 2)
A: You are? (he's serious- he must be really gullible) She's (pointing off camera, probably to mom, Jane) not even 5 foot 7.
E: Your hair, is shorter too now. Your fans will want to know, when did you cut it?
A: I caught it (makes a face) uggg... I caught it (giggles, bites his tounge so everyone knows he's tounge twisted) no, I cut it about last year, like march, I think.
E: So, why did you want to cut your hair?
A: it was geting in my way in morning.
E: Yeah, so you don't trip getting out of bed?
A: yeah..
E: I like it, it looks really good. AND you pierced you ear! show everyone. You did this 6 weeks ago. Was it painful?
A: (thinks) YES!
**************************************************************************** E: On your new CD, is there going to be a duet with your brother?
A: ummm... probably not. nope.
E: What about sugar sugar, did you end up covering that?
A: yeah. I did that, but it's not going to be on the album.
**************************************************************************** E: You also jumped from your last label, Adel, to Jive.
A: Adel to Jive (nods)
E: Which is home to the Backstreet Boys-
A: yep.
E: and (sucks in a breath) BRITNEY SPEARS!
A: (crosses arms over his body, and mocks Exan) Britney Spears! (smiles)
E: So, have you had a chance to meet her yet?
A: yes, I have.
E: You have. And what was that like? Do you still have a crush on her?
A: Of course! yeah, of course.
E: And she's as sweet as I told you she is, right?
A: (nods) She's just like that (sits up straight, and smiles brightly, wiggles his head, in imitation of Exan)
E: she's just like me?
A: yeah! almost.
E: awwww, he's telling me I'm sweet. Thank you. (touches his knee with her hand)
A: Not as much, though.
E: No?
A: No, not as sweet as you.
E: Oh, she's...oh...your a sweet-heart. You are sugar sugar!
A: (laughs, nods, then grins)

A: I hope!
E: 'cause I don't think I'm growing anymore. Thank You (she extends her hand to him)
A: (laughs , then he reaches over and hugs her) Thank you.
