Through tears, I see your face,

I gaze upon your image and wonder,

Why you did this,

Why you let me surrender?

You came to me, through a locked door,

You found the way without a key,

You made me feel alive again,

You made me want to be me.

We had many precious moments,

Only you and I could share,

I fell in love.

Was I the only one who really cared?

I wanted to be whole again

So I opened my heart unseeing,

Only to have it broken,

I should have hid my feelings.

The words "ILOVE YOU Darling""

Were spoken without feeling,

They came from your lips,

But I know now they had no meaning.

My body, my soul was yours

I gave you all there was to give,

I wanted what I thought we had,

I wanted to be alive again, to live. 

I should never have let this happen

Should have ran from your words as they came to my ears,

Should have known they were just uttered

Without feeling and would leave me with My Tears.

So my lover you have succeeded,

In breaking my heart,

There was a time, not long ago

I thought we would grow and never be apart

But I know now,

I was something to amuse

A toy to play with

You have left me feeling abused.

Take heed from what has happened to us,

Don't treat others as you have me,

For if you do darling,

You will be alone, abandoned, but free.
