The Young Eagle program:
The non-profit EAA Aviation Foundation's Young Eagles Program is going to give 1 million young people between the ages of 8 and 17 the experience of flight. The flight is free, safe and flown by a licensed and experienced volunteer pilot whose life has been enhanced by aviation.

Copa flight 91 has taken steps to embrace the Younge Eagle Program. To date 2 groups totaling 10 young people have been flown at Nanaimo under the Young Eagle Program.

Flight 91's first annual general meeting was held at the Nanaimo Flying Club on Sunday September 30, 2001. Dues were set at $12 per year, elections held, and charter was presented to Captain Doug Sowden by BC/Yukon Director Ken Armstrong.
Meetings will be held at 11:30 on the third Sunday of each and every month at the Nanaimo Flying Club. Every is welcome to attend.
