Challenges

This page archives over 300 Willow/Oz stories, which is of the good. But we're always looking for more.

Long story short: We need more Willow/Oz fic on the net. Especially now. I'm going to try to update a with new challenge once every month, to give people enough time to write, beta-read ::hint::, and submit fic for the challenge. I'm getting ahead of myself, aren't I? ::sheepish grin:: A challenge, by the way, is a fic idea that leaves out key points, and lets others fill the rest in.

So, check these out, and maybe it will spark something inside you. If it does, write it up, and send it to Me!

First Challenge:
"Love can be... nice!"

So I was watching "I only have eyes for you" the other day, and noticed the scene between Willow and Buffy at the beginning. Willow pursuades Buffy to get back in the dating game, stating joyfully that "Love can be... nice!" Well, I'm thinking that she's referring to something about her and Oz's relationship, but what's so nice about it? Is it something he did? Something he said? Something they did together? It's your decision...

Sometimes Love Can Be Nice by Wendy.
Love Can Be Nice (poem) by BOOM301.
Freaks at the Bronze by Karen.
Love, Tissues and a Bottle of Grapefruit Juice by Pixie.
Full Blue Moon by Southern Girl.
Love Is So Not Overrated by Aly.
Love? by Taffie.
Telephone Talk by Emily.
Just Because by Sati Rose.
Love Can Be... Nice by Sam.

Second Challenge:
We know how Willow and Oz spent their summer nights... but what about their days? Well, that's up to you. Figure out what exactly happened during Summer Break: Willow and Oz style.

Thinking About You by Heart.
Forest Adventure by Emily.
Sand Castles by Sam.

Third Challenge:
"You said all this stuff already."

What did Willow say to apologize to Oz pre-Wish?

Already Gone by Evil!Red.

Fourth Challenge:
As of the episode Helpless, Willow and Oz have been dating for exactly one year (if you don't count the two weeks in which they were apart due to flukeage)... What happened on Willow and Oz's anniversary?

A Year Is A Long Time by Starlite.

Fifth Challenge:
It's Willow or Oz's birthday. How does the sweetest couple in Sunnydale celebrate?

My gift To You by Audrey.

Sixth Challenge:
This one's pretty simple: Write an ending to New Moon Rising or Wild at Heart that prevents Oz from leaving, prevents Tara from showing up, or completely abolishes Veruca. The trick? Make it plausible and in-character. And, just because I'm me, make the ending as fluffy as possible without over-doing it.
