Hi! Beat the trainers on the way to Sea Cottage. Sea Cottage is just Bill's House. You can go beyond Sea Cottage in the Gold Version of POkemon, but not in the Red and Blue Version. He has a little problem. He transforms himself into pokemon to understand more about their lives. This time however, he can not transform back for some reason. He asks you to go to his computer and press the button when he is in the tranformer. Do so and when he is tranformed back into a human being, he will give you a reward! In Vermillion City, there are lots of ships. One very big and luxurious ship, called the S.S. Anne comes once a year. Everyone on board is a pokemon trainer. He was also invited but he hates fancy. So he gives you the S.S. ticket! You will need it to get on the ship. Go out of the house and go back in. Bill will let you see his favorite pokemon in his computer. They are Eevee, Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon. You can get them later.
Now go back to Cerulean City.
On the right of the entrance to the Nugget bridge is a house which was robbed by the evil Team Rocket. Before you went to Bill's House, the door was blocked by a policeman. But now, you are allowed to go in. The people in there tell you that Team Rocket stole a valuable TM called Dig. Go out the back door and you will see a Team Rocket member. Fight him. He will give you TM 28, called Dig. Dig is almost the same as Teleport, except it's better. When you are in a cave, use Dig and you will go back to the last Pokecenter you went to. This may seem bad, but there's more! In battle, when your pokemon uses Dig, it will waste two turns. On the first turn, it digs underground. Your opponent can not hurt you when you're underground. On the second turn, you hit your opponent with a powerful attack. This will not work against flying pokemon because it is a ground attack. Go back to the Pokecenter. Heal. Take a low level pokemon with you.
Leave Cerulean City and go down to Vermillion City. On the way, in the middle of the path, you will see a house. It has a large backyard. Enter the yard from the top, two stpes from the bottom of Cerulean. When you enter, leave your low leveled pokemon with the daycare center staff. They will gain levels for your pokemon for you. This is how it works: For every step you take, you pokemon gains one experience point. I advise you put Abra in. Remember to come back to pick him up at level 15. Then, gain one level for it and wait for it to evolve. You must take Abra out when it is level 15 or lower. Leave and go down. You will see two buildings. One is south and leads to Saffron City. You can't go there yet. The east building is an underground path to Vermillion City. Go there. There is a boy in there who will trade you a Nidoran female if you give him a male Nidoran. Do so if you have not caught the female one. Go to Vermillion City.
