There are quite a lot of instructions so read them carefully:
Your meals and sleeping fees are all at the PokeCenters located in each city or town. Every month, you need to pay only a small fee of 1000 dollars to the PokeCenter. I'll deduct 1000 dollars from your account right away!
If you are a trainer, you will start off in Pallet Town. You will continue your journey from there. If you are a Nurse Joy or Officer Jenny, you can pick where you start off. If you are a Team Rocket member, you will start off in Viridian City because that's where Giovanni is. If you are a breeder, you will start off in Cinnabar Island. If you are a gym leader, I will pick where you start off.
Remember, there are a lot of cities to go to so check each one. You can not go to more than two cities in one day. For example, you CAN, in one day, go to Pewter City from Viridian Forest, and then return to Viridian Forest. You CANNOT however, go from Viridian Forest to Pewter City, then to Cerulean City.
I was afraid few people would play this game so I put some computer gym leaders and trainers in the RPG. You can treat them like real people. If you go to a city and you see a trainer or gym leader that you want to challenge, e-mail me and I'll tell you the details. Remember, my e-mail address is "swongNAIHOMA@hotmail.com"!
When fighting a battle against a trainer or gym leader, I'll e-mail you with the pokemon that person wants to use. THen you can choose your pokemon. I'll help, if that person is a computer, to give out attacks. If you're fighting a level 5 Pidgey, it will only have Gust. Check the pokedex for moves. You can e-mail me with what move you want to move.
If you win the battle, you will receive money following: Trainer's pokemon's level times 100.
You have to beat the official gym leaders in order (in the order you beat them in the actual game boy game).
Experience points for pokemon follow this formula: Level times 100
In other words, if your pokemon is level 5, it has 500 experience points until the next level. Every two days, all your pokemon will gain 500 E.P. When your pokemon's level is in the range of levels 10 and 15, it will gain 1000 E.P every two days and so on...
If you win against gym leaders, you will get money following: Gym leader's pokemon level times 200.
If you win a battle against a wild pokemon, you will get money following: wild pokemon's level times 25.
Every time you battle Gary Oaks, you gain experience points following: Gary's level times 75 for each pokemon. In other words, if Gary's first pokemon is Bellsprout level 5, the pokemon that battles it and wins gets 250 E.P.
Every time you battle a computer trainer, you gain experience points following: Trainer's level times 50 for each pokemon.
Every time you battle a gym leader, you gain experience points following: gym leader's level times 125 for each pokemon.
Every time you battle a wild pokemon and makes it faint, you gain experience points following: wild pokemon's level times 25.
Every time you battle a real person trainer, you gain experience points following: Person Trainer's level times 100 for each pokemon.
If you use two pokemon battling the same opponent pokemon, the experience points will be divied in half for each one. Same goes for three pokemon; three shares, and so on....
If you are fighting an evolved pokemon, no matter if wild or trainers, the starting numbers are added by 25.
ACTUALLY, DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE POINTS OR MONEY THAT MUCH BECAUSE I'LL BE CALCULATING THEM AND I WON'T TRICK YOU OR ANYTHING!!!
