HOW TO GET MEW

1. Make sure the S.S. Anne does not leave. You can do this by: getting Cut and then losing a battle so you will be immediately transported back to the Pokecenter or do not get Cut and have a friend trade you a pokemon with Cut. Remember, if you get Cut and you leave the ship through the exit, it will leave.
2. Play along in the game until you get Surf and Strength.
3. Fly, go back to the S.S. Anne. Do not go in the ship. Instead surf on the area east of the ship. You should see a little truck.
4. Use strength to push away the truck.
5. Inside is a pokeball with Mew.

1. Buy the Magikarp from the guy in the pokecenter located at the entrance of Mt. Moon for 500 yen.
2. Put it in the Daycare Center.
3. Take it out when it is level 49.
4. Fight some battles until Magikarp grows to level 50.
5. Magikarp will evolve into Mew.
