How Can I desrcibe THUNDER OVER LOUISVILLE for
you?? I have been right on the belverdere in front
of it all.. behind me stood the Boom Box that
provided the music for the fireworks...(oh forgot to
tell you the fireworks are set off to
music...oops)When it begins it sort of puts you into
a trance you hear nothing but the music and see
nothing but the Fireworks... and for the 30 minutes
they go off... your like in such ahhh... and I could
never express what I feel when I am standing
there... So the best I can tell you is to experience
it for yourself....You will truly LOVE it. Well one
thing I can tell you its makes it better when you
are with someone you Love.. But hey doesn't
everything:-)
Ok here is a brief History lesson about
Louisville:
Pop. 260,689. Kentucky's largest city. Jefferson
County seat, est. 1780. Greater Louisville metro
area,including
Jefferson,Bullitt,Oldham,andShelby counties in Ky.
and Clark,floyd,and Harrison counties in Indiana.,
pop. 952,662. I-65, I-71 & I-64, on the Ohio River,
named for King Louis XVI of France, Louisville was

charters was signed by Thomas Jefferson, then
governor of Va., on May1,1780. Louisville is well
known as the home of the Kentucky Derby, the Belle
of Louisville and the Louisville Falls fountain.

Of course I have to show you our Louisville
falls Fountain... This Fountain Is in the Middle of
the Ohio River... you are able to see in in the
pictures above it is off to your right....The
picture is a little blurry I enlarged it so you
could get a better view... The fountain is
beautiful at night But as ugly as sin in the day
time(shhh I didn't say that..lol)
Have you ever heard of the Louisville Slugger??
Well incase you haven't it is a base ball bat..
used by many proffesonal players.. have you ever
seen a Baseball bat that stands over 5 STORY'S tall
.. well guess what we have one.. This is the newest
attraction to Louisville Believe it or not that have
made a Glove to go along with that bat But it is
not up yet... Here is a picture of the Bat.. notice
the building it is leaning against it is 5 story's
high..
