Since the inception of Will's Kickin Page, the site has grown in leaps and bounds. The work has become harder and the hours much longer. So, In order to give the fans the best,most up to date,tell em like it is,fan friendly site I introduce a new writer to the staff...Doug(Das101884@aol.com)! I thank all those other writers who tried out for the spot but got cut. I hope you keep working on your writing skills and try out next time(there will be a next time). Doug's job is to write a bi-monthly column where he can vent his opinions and comments through my site. Hey Sabres Fans!!! I'm Doug....a long time Sabres Fan and also a Long time visitor of Will's Kickin Page. After seeing all the work Will does, I noticed there were no other opinions than his. So, I figured I could help him out. Will's Kickin Page is easily the best fan-oriented site on the NET. It is a great honor being able to write for such a fine website. Here is a list of guys that seemed to disappear out of thin air.
Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre Who? Somebody please tell me what happened to this guy. He's basically a living Houdini act. Now you see him, now you don't. He gets a great chance in the beginning of the year to become a consistent defenseman and he passes it off like Roseanne and Diet Pills. This guy has maybe 1 last chance to make it before he becomes a.....dare I say it.......Mike Hurlbut. A guy who is old enough to be a dad still under the list of prospects. Awful.
Alexei Zhitnik Where oh where should I start? This guy can't shoot on net, can't pass, can't setup, can't playmake, can't play solid on the line, and anything else you can think of. What happened? Maybe Will knows the anwer but I sure don't. I'm not sure how much tis guy gets paid, like 2.5 maybe, but frankly I don't care. He's gotta clean up his act.
Dixon Ward This guy has alot of nerve. To play the way he does and speak out that he wanted to be traded? I bet Lindy Ruff opened the Buffalo News and saw that he demanded a trade and Lindy thought.....Who? This guy's on the team? So he goes and asks Don Lever "Who is this WARD guy?" and Don says "Ya know, that one guy with the goofy eyes and huge ears." OHHHHH YEAHHHH!!!! that guy!! I thought he was on the ice crew!!!! I didn't know scums like him could demand a trade. B-U-M Bum!
Doug's Final Thought What happened to these guys? When and/or why did they disappear and start playing so terribly? That's all I want to know. You know you've hit rock bottom when fans cheer when they hear that you're scratched. Well thats all until next article. Hope you enjoyed...Email Willrus with your opinions on me and my article.
