Philadelphia Flyers did a good job by proving my predictions wrong. As it turned out, the Flyer beat up on a team that wasnt ready to play for whatever reason. Boucher wasnt tested nearly enough and the captain didnt show up. I will not waste this space to discuss the "what ifs" or the terriable officiating; that will be addressed in the future. So lets move on, forget about this series, and contemplate the future of the team and this website.
Did you know that almost every person who surfs the web stays at a website that has a nice design and graphics? That means a hockey website could basically say nothing about the sport yet still have many loyal viewers. Can you believe that? So this summer will be a time to overhaul the look and finally get the respect that most .coms recieve.
Let's keep in mind that I am always looking for knowledgable people to help me with my site. If it's by writing an article or telling a friend, you can help. This site is made by a fan, for the fans. My goal is to build a tightnit, cohesive group of Sabres fans that support the team through the good and bad times.
In the next week to ten days, look for a huge update on the prospects section. It is almost done now, I am just adding the finishing touches. The new section should rank as one of the best places to find info on Sabres Stars of the future. In the coming months, expect to find a season ending report card, along with in depth coverage on the expansion and entry drafts.
This off-season should shape up as one of the biggest in recent memory. Just think of the questions we must ponder...Should Hasek come back? Is Zhitnik through? Who to protect in the good ole expansion draft? (thanks Bettman) Stay tuned!
