Miroslav Satan is a talented little devil. He is the current premier goal scorer on the Buffalo Sabres. Miro scored 40 goals in the 1998-1999 campaign, the first to score 40 on the Sabres since the great Pat Lafontaine. He is great on the power play, and passes as well as shoots. There isn't really a weak spot in Miro's game, he has great speed, amazing scoring touch, thread-a-needle-in-the-dark passing, great hockey sense and vision, and can surprisingly play well in the defensive aspects of the game.
Before Satan was in the NHL, he spent most of his time in Europe, where he played for Topocalny of the Czechoslovakia Division Two League and Dukla Trencin of the Czechoslovakia and Slovak Leagues. He played his junior hockey for Cape Brenton of the American Hockey League.
