Pat O'Connor is the only New Zealander to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Has held more titles than any other NZ wrestler. A list of the titles he has held: 2 time AWA International Heavyweight Title in 1954 and 55 beating Killer Kowalski both times. NWA World Tag Team Champion With Roy McClarty in 1955. 3 time British Empire/Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion in 1956,57 and 82 4 time NWA United States Champion Canadian Open Tag Team Champion with Whipper Billy Watson in 1957 AWA World Tag Team Champion with Wilbur Snyder in 1967 World Wrestling Association Tag Team Champion with Wilbur Snyder in 1968 NWA World Heavyweight Champion on January 9th 1959 beating Dick Hutton. Held the World Title until June 30th 1961 when he lost to Buddy Rogers.
