1)Hey friend have you been around lately
Hey friend can't you see the world's in shambles
And you will get your fair share of pain
And it'll leave you broken and bruised
But you tell me strange things today
About this Jesus who knows my name
And he loves me enough to see me through
Well i think you're just a fool

But then you showed me what a Jesus fool can be
Thank you friend for praying for me
Thank you friend for taking a care
Thank you friend for loving me
Cos now your Jesus walks with me
And he tells me he loves me even when i fall

2) JESUS you opened my heart to shout your praises
You opened my lips to sing for u
Knowing that sacrifices are worthless
Burnt offerings and good deeds don't buy me love
What you want is a broken spirit, a contrite heart
A tearful soul weeping his guts out
A humble spirit praying for peace
that's what you delight in and will never despise
Break me lord, till i'm nothing but clay again
Break me lord, till i'm moulded in your will again
Your unfailing love tells me I will hold up my choices up to the light
