Two dimensions one world
Part 2 this will be MUCH longer Li stared at Sakura as if she had lost her mind. “Sakura what are you talking about. I would never harm you. You know that.” Li reached up to gently touch her face when Sakura slapped it away. “Don’t touch me!!! Just stay away from me!!!” Tears began to stream out of her eyes as she bolted for the door. Li grabbed her by the shoulders and spun her around to face him. “Sakura what has gotten into you!!! You know I would never hurt you. It is my JOB to protect you!!!” He slackened his grip when he saw her wince in pain. “Your JOB was to kill me!!!” Her tears increased. “I tried to make friends with you even after you killed Madison!!! Why Li!!! Why did you hunt me down like I was some animal!!! Why did you KILL my best friend!!! Why!!! You even tried to kill my father!!! He is in intensive care now!! AND YOU DON’T CARE!!!” Sakura was beating on his chest hard. “LET ME GO!!! You can have whatever you want!!! just let me go home... I just *sob* wanna *sniff* go home!!!” She had stopped fighting and just stood their limp in his arms crying her eyes out. Li stood there shocked for a moment. He would never EVER do that to her. What had happened to her??? Had her memory of him been altered. What in the world was going on!!! Then he noticed that Sakura was sobbing uncontrollably into her hands. He gently wrapped him arms around her and pulled her shaking body to him. “Shhhh Your safe now. It’s all right.” He started rubbing circles in her back. That always calmed her down. He placed his chin on the top of her head. At least a few things were the same. Sakura’s eyes snapped open. <Why is he doing this!! Is he trying to trick me!!?? Why didn’t he just kill me when he had the chance??? Why is he holding me!!?? Why does it feel so... warm. I can not trust him. I have to get away from him!!!> She pushed against him. “No let me go!!! This is just another way for you to do your families bidding!!! They want me dead!!! You told me yourself!!! Now LET...ME...GO!!!” She pushed against him really hard and sent him careening for the pendulum sticking out of the wall. He quickly backflipped to safety. He then ran after Sakura and cornered her. He took a deep breath before speaking. He didn’t want to scare her more than she already was. He made her sit on the floor in the corner of the room facing him. “Sakura I don’t know what happened to make you think that I could ever hurt you. And as for Madison she is one of my best friends!! I would like to break her camera but I would never hurt her!! And my family would never tell me to kill anyone!!! Hurt and or capture maybe but kill!!?? Never. And how could I hurt you Sakura??? Don’t you know... don’t you remember that I love you!!! I could never do anything to hurt you ever!!!” Sakura looked up at him. “So what you are trying to tell me is that the last few years of my life has all been an illusion and that Madison is alive my father is not in ICU and that you protect me and care for me??? HA!!! I don’t believe you for a second!!! You are trying to trick me again I kn...” “SAKURA!!! If I can give you prove that what I am saying is true will you at least stay with me and let me help you until I figure out what has happened and why I am in the twilight zone all the sudden!!!??? If I can’t at least interest you I will let you go and turn my self into the loony bin. Please let me try to convince you!! You don’t know... You don’t know what this is doing to me!! It’s killing me!!! please.” Sakura looked into his eyes. They were filled with a mixture of hurt confusion and love. His eyes were also glistening with unshed tears. “All right. But if it isn’t good then I am outta here.” Li pulled out his wallet and took out the picture part of it. “Here look at these. I will be at the other side of the room if you don’t believe the pictures then run.” He gave her the photos and leaned up against the opposite wall watching her. Sakura opened the small loaded booklet with shaking hands. Inside were different pictures of the group. Sometimes the entire group, She almost smiled at one picture where they were at the beach. Kero was stuffing his face, Li was glaring at Madison’s camera and Sakura was hugging Li from behind with a big grin on her face. Madison meanwhile seemed to be filming the entire scene. Then she got to the last picture. It showed them both kissing and both blushing a deep red. Sakura looked up at him with confused eyes.
“Where did you get these???” Li sighed in relief and walked over to where Sakura was. “We took them. Tori took a lot of the...” “TORI!!! He isn’t even alive!!! He died when I was three!!! How did you know about him???” Li gently took the booklet from her hands and flipped to a picture of Tori Li and Sakura. “In my memory he is alive. That is him right there... he ummm doesn’t like me very much. When I first arrived in Japan he caught me trying to take the cards from you.” “It does look kind of like him...” “Do you believe me now Sakura???” “I honestly don’t know what to believe... I guess I can trust you. But one wrong move and I am gone.” Li nodded. “Deal. Now lets get those wrist taken care of. Is it all right if we do it at my house??? I have lots of healing elixirs there... I think...” “I guess... HEY what are you doing!!!” Li had gently scooped her up into his arms. “I am carrying you there. I am not sure how much blood you have lost and I have no idea if you are hurt under your clothes or not. No way am I letting you walk.” Sakura took a deep breath and snuggled down into his arms. She was getting very sleepy very fast. And for some reason she had never felt safer than she did right then. “Your warm” she mummered as she fell asleep using his chest for a pillow and his heart beat for a lullaby.
