A Love Card For Two

Chapter 1

* ¡§Where am I?¡¨ ¡§What am I doing here?¡¨ Sakura curiously looked up to see a clow card. ¡§This is a strange looking clow card. What are you trying to tell me? Is there trouble? Speak to me.¡¨ A pink and green light shot out from the clow card and formed a heart in front of Sakura.

¡§What¡¦s this? A pink and green heart. What is that heart emitting? It feels like mine and Syaoran¡¦s aura. It feels so comforting.¡¨ Sakura slowly lifted her hand to touch the soft heart. The heart than surrounded her and......*

Sakura shot up from her bed in a cool sweat. ¡§What was that about?¡¨ Sakura gazed at her alarm clock on the dresser by her bed. The time read, ¡§6:15? What am I doing up this early? Oh well! As long as I¡¦m up I might as well get dressed and ready. Oh wait! I almost forgot! Today is Syaoran¡¦s birthday! Ugh!

Kero? Kero? KERO WAKE UP!¡¨ Sakura shouted at the top of her lungs. Kero shot up to the ceiling and fell back down, hitting his head on the desk.

¡§Sakura, please tell me WHY you did that?¡¨ Kero asked, still rubbing his head from hitting the desk.

¡§It¡¦s 6:20. Time to get up. Today is Syaoran¡¦s birthday and we need to go shopping.¡¨ Sakura was saying as she was getting dressed. ¡§First off, it¡¦s time for you to get up, not the guardian. Second, who cares if it¡¦s the brat¡¦s birthday and I¡¦m not going shopping.¡¨ Kero slipped back into his bed, pullimg the covers over his face.

¡§ Oh come on Kero! I need your help to pick out a present. I¡¦ll make you some brownies when we get home.¡¨ Sakura could almost see Kero¡¦s mouth watering with delight. Kero stood up like a zombie and flew over to Sakura. ¡§Okay! Make sure they are double chocolate though. Also, why do you want to buy a present for the brat anyway?¡¨ Kero looked into Sakura¡¦s eyes with a curious, yet sly look in his eyes.

¡§He is my friend, and I¡¦m being nice. He has a name you know.¡¨ Sakura leaned over to pick him up.

¡§ Yes I know, Brat.¡¨ Kero said back to her as he was climbing into her hands. Sakura giggled and put him into her backpack.
