Chapter 2 "Kero! Have you seen my picnic basket?" Sakura was diving into her closet, looking and throwing out the clothes. A small looking bear with wings and a long tail flew towards dodging the clothes that fired out like cannons. "Whoa, Sakura!" shouted Kero as he was being attacked suddenly by flying skirts. "You stuck it at the back of the closet last summer remember? Besides, what's the big rush? On a date or something?" "Yep!" replied Sakura happily as she swung out the basket with pride. "Ah, with that Syoaran kid huh?" "Yep I know it gonna be perfect!" "Oh god, she'll be here any minute!" Syoaran paced around the room nervously and rechecking his stuff like about 100 times. "Let's see the kite is here and I got the blankets in case it's gonna be cold, even though it's the summer " He sighed and went to check himself in the mirror. But as he looked in the mirror, but instead, saw a young girl with bright blue eyes with a tied up hair wink at him, then disappeared. Syoaran looked startled and then shook his head. <Properly just the light, playin' tricks on me> Ding-Dong! "I'll get it!!!" squealed one of his sister with excitement in her eyes! "I bet it's your girlfriend Sakura!" Syoaran blushed as red as a tomato and dashed to the front door before his sisters ever did. Too late though. "Ahh! Sakura! You look soooo cute!" "Aww, don't you think you'll be a little chilly in that summer dress of yours?" "Don't worry, Syoaran will keep you warm right?" "Tee-hee!" Sakura (feeling quite embarrassed) tried to get herself past the many hands that kept pinching her face and the little squeals that started to hurt her ears. "Girls! Settle down right now!" cried a calm voice. It was Syoaran's mother. As the girls ran into another room to go and check on (more like pick on) Syoaran, they left their mother and Sakura alone. Sakura bowed politely " Syoaran and I will be back around 7:30pm." Syoaran's mother smiled meaning that she accepted the time but frowns a little and whispered, "I seem to have sense some powers coming from somewhere, but please don't tell Syoaran, I want him to have a perfect night." Sakura nodded, just then, Syoaran came into the room. "Uh hi Sakura," feeling a blush coming along. <Man she looks hot! > He thought as he eyed her outfit. She was wearing a baby blue dress that came down to her feet. It had laces on the collar and the bottom of the dress. She wore pink sandals and matching little ribbons on her head. Syoaran was wearing a white T-shirt with a jean jacket over. Baggy jeans pants and white sneakers. "Shall we go?" asked Sakura happily as Syoaran finally snapped out of his trance. "Uh yeah, bye mom!" "Don't stay out to late!" She called out as she closed the door. So together, Syoaran and Sakura walked peacefully to the park. Up in the trees . "Why did you do that?!" "I dunno, I just wanna have a peek at him before he went, he is so fine looking! Such a baby face I can't resist!" "Yes, well, we have a mission and let get to it!" and with that, she took off into the night sky like a shooting star. "Right behind you sis!" with a smile, she took off after her. "This is so nice Syoaran," whispered Sakura as she lay on the blanket beside Syoaran, looking at the stars. "Too bad there wasn't enough wind to fly the kite though." "Oh that's ok, at least I'm here with you," Syoaran said with a blush across his face. Sakura blushed also but cuddled next to him under the blanket they shared. Suddenly, they saw two shooting star shoots across the sky. "Make a wish!" cried Sakura. She squeezed her eyes shut and opened them to see two chocolate eyes staring back at her. "What did you wish for Syoaran?" Syoaran place his hand on her cheek and pulled her closer to his face. "My wish just came true," he whispered ever so softly as he pressed his lip son gently on hers as if she would break into a million pieces. Suddenly they heard a weird whirling sound behind the bushes. The turned around as saw something reflecting in the moonlight. "Madison! Are you there?! Kero! Are you there too?!" Sakura got up and headed toward the bushes. Madison popped up with bits of leaves in her hair and clutching her precious camcorder. (no surprise there). And Kero, clutching on to some popcorn and stuffing his mouth full. "Good scene but I've seen better in movies." Sakura started blushing madly as Syoaran ran up to her. "Oh, hi Madison, I see you're spying on us again." Madison gave a guilty kind of look. "I'm sorry, but I have to record Sakura's special things of her life. And this is one of them!" Syoaran was about to say something when suddenly the ground began to shake. "What happening?" cried Sakura as she fell to the ground. "Sakura!" cried Syoaran as he went and grabbed hold of her. "Stay with me! Madison! You and Kero go into the bushes!" "You don't have to tell me twice kid," replied Kero as he dived in Madison's bag. Then a huge Snake appeared out of the ground with long pointy fangs and huge, bloodthirsty eyes. Then two young girls jumped out of the trees and smiled at Sakura and Syoaran. night They both wore strange dragon mask on their faces. The first one blue and the other red. The Blue one wore a long, baby blue, Chinese robes with golden dragons on them. She had a small, white staff with her with neon, blue tail of something, shaped like a dragon's tail. The staff was carved in a dragon with rubies for its eyes. The red one on the other hand, wore a red Chinese robe with golden dragons decorated on them also. She carried a staff but it was red and on the top it was shaped like a dragon's head, with it's mouth opened wide and blue jeweled eyes. "So, these are the heroes huh?" said the longhaired one. "I'm surprised, you guys don't look so tough." Syoaran jumped in front of Sakura with his arms out, trying to protect her. "Who are you and what do u want?" The small one laughed. "My, my aren't we Mr. Protective? For your information, we 're the Dragon Sisters! And " she said with a smile, "We're here to have some fun!" She turned to the snake and hissed "What are you waiting for? Attack!!" Without warning, the snake dive to Syoaran, which bashed him onto the tree side. "Syoaran! Cried Sakura as she quickly rushed to his aid. She was pissed and held out her key and said the enchantment. "Now shield card!" and form the dumb shield as the snake took another dive. " Now, Thunder release and dispel!" The Thunder went and shocked the snake it's thunder. It screamed in pained and shiveled into dust. "Well that was crappy!" the Blue one said to the Red. "She only beat him with one card and that was hardly entertainment!" "Oh, quite your complains, It was just a warm up remember?" Besides, we have other important things to take care of next Monday remember?" "Oh yeah," said the Blue one, nodding. Then turned to Sakura, "Well, if you think you just beaten us, your wrong, It was just a little warm up and we have powers beyond your imagination!!" She gave a twisted smile, "We'll be seeing you too soon, don't forget that! "Also I'd consider protecting your boyfriend better if I were you," eyeing Syoaran with great boredom. "Cause next time he won't be so lucky!" And with that, she and the red one leaped into to the starry sky and disappeared. "Sakura " "Syoaran!" She held him close to her and began stroking his hair, "Are you ok," she whispered in a worried look. Syoaran smiled, "Of course I am, What happened to those weirdoes?" Sakura shrugged, "They left but said they'd be coming back, Syoaran, who are they? And what do they want?" "Let's figure that tomorrow, right now, let's go home." Sakura smiled and helped Syoaran whiled Madison stepped out from the bushes. "Got it all on film, hey does this mean we got a new enemy in our hands?" "Hmm the Dragon Sisters, very interesting " muttered Kero when he popped out of the bag. "Kero, have you heard of them?" asked Sakura. "Well, there's not much to say about them cause their profiles are highly classified and also their secret identities. All I know is that they are the world's highly trained warriors with highly special magic and enchantments that only few have ever mastered." "So are they enemies or foe?" asked Syoaran as he tries to lift himself up. "Well, that's the problem, they're such mysterious people that nobody knows if they're good are not but all I know is back at my time, They had served very loyally under Clow Reads wishes but after he passed away, they vanished." "Vanished?" Sakura replied with a question mark on her face. "Yep, left without a trace." Then continued munching on his popcorn, they all had sweat-drops at the back of his head except Syoaran. He was in deep thought all of a sudden, then, he opened his eyes and turned to Sakura. "I'll take you home." Then, headed to their picnic spot. Sakura just stood there, with a worried look on her face. "Oh Syoaran," she sighed and went to catch up with him. |
