FF VII: Interrupted by Fireworks

Epilogue

Sukura read the letter from Meilin, stating forgiveness, and containing tickets for a Disney cruise for two. Meanwhile, Meilin
watched outside through Sukura's window, even though it was across the street. (Her eyes had been trained to see across long
distances clearly, and besides, she had binoculars.) Without warning, someone touched her shoulder. "Well, well, well, Meilin," it
was Syaoran's second-oldest sister, Virginia. "Syaoran has gone off and married the girl of his dreams, and I can remember quite
clearly the day when you ran up to me, squealing the you and he were engaged."

Meilin sighed and put down the binoculars. "We were just playing, you know."

Virginia sat down next to her. "But it developed into the family joke, though a few people did take it seriously."

"I know..."

"Sooo...What are you gonna do now?"

"I dunno. Perhaps I'll go back to China, and maybe teach gymnastics or martial arts or something like that. Syaoran says I have yet
to meet my soulmate. And I think that he's probably right. I mean, I didn't go all into pieces when he married her. But it was hard.
Yet I'm going to try as hard as I can to move on."

"Wise choice."

"Thanks."

Meanwhile, in the hotel room, Sukura smiled as she read the tickets for a Disney cruise through the Caribbean. "Perfect," she
whispered. "And I forgive you, too, Meilin."

And with that, she went to join her husband.
