Part 4- Rio Makes Things Right

(At Northwest High School...)
Masuto-sensei: Class, we have a new student today. Her name is Kirei-Rei. She is from America. Please make her feel welcome in our school.
(A girl with short sleek black hair and dark brown eyes enters the class, catching the eyes of many boys in the class except for Kinomoto Touya and Tsukishiro Yukito.)
Masuto-sensei: Why don't you sit behind Kinomoto Touya over there?
Kirei-Rei: Hai. (Goes and sits behind Touya.)

(Rio's friends watch in deep interest)
Hikaru: Why do you suppose she chose to go to Touya's school?
Hoshina: Probably so it wouldn't look so suspicious. And so she wouldn't have to waste her time changing her age.
Hikaru: Very clever...
Akari: I don't get it.
(Face fault)

(During lunchtime...)
(Kirei-Rei sees Touya and Yukito hang out in the other side of the fence with Syaoran, Sakura, and Tomoyo. Syaoran and Touya are having a glaring contest.)
(Kirei-Rei laughs out loud.)
Touya: (stops glaring and turns to face Kirei-Rei) What's so funny?
Kirei-Rei: (still giggling) It's funny watching you be so over protective of your sister.
Touya: How do you know that she's my sister?
Kirei-Rei: (not losing her cool) Oh...let's just say I have a knack for these things.
(Touya looks at her suspiciously)
Yukito: (smiles cheerfully) Why don't you join us?
Kirei-Rei: Sure why not? (Moves back a few paces then runs full speed towards the fence and jumps up, landing gracefully on the other side.)
(The others blink in awe)

Hikaru: (grumbles) Show off.

Tomoyo: So where are you from Kirei-Rei-san?
Kirei-Rei: I'm from America.
Syaoran: (looks at her suspiciously) America?
Sakura: (to herself) That's the fourth time this month...
Syaoran: Kirei-Rei-san-
Kirei-Rei: Call me Kirei-chan, Ki-chan, or Rei-chan please.
Syaoran: Rei-san, do you know and girls by the name of Mina-Ai, Usagi-Yu, or Mine-Ri?
Kirei-Rei: (blankly) Who?
Syaoran: Never mind...

Hikaru: Grr...she thinks she's so smart!
Hoshina: Well she is....
Akari: I don't get it...
(Face fault)

(Later Kirei-Rei catches Tomoyo by herself...)
Kirei-Rei: Tomoyo-chan?
Tomoyo: Hai?
Kirei-Rei: How would you like to help me get Syaoran and Sakura together?
Tomoyo: (eyes become starry) I'd love to!! And I can videotape it too!
Kirei-Rei: (sweat dropping) Great...then this is what we'll do first...
(Tomoyo and Kirei-Rei whisper to each other secretly with Cupid plans)

<<Time warp>>
(After school...)
Tomoyo: (to Syaoran and Sakura) I have a singing lesson so I'll be going the other way. You two walk by yourselves okay? (Runs of before either of the two can answer.)
(Tomoyo turns around a corner to meet Kirei-Rei. She whips out her video camera and hands Kirei-Rei and outfit to wear.)
Kirei-Rei: Eh? What the heck is this for?
Tomoyo: It's a spy outfit. Put it on.
(A few moments later Kirei-Rei is dressed in a tight black body suit with a see-through black cloak, black shoes and gloves, dark shades and hat. Tomoyo shows up wearing the same thing.)
Kirei-Rei: (sweat drop) Don't you think this is a little eccentric?
Tomoyo: Eccentric?
Kirei-Rei: Never mind...
Tomoyo: Look they're still standing there.
Kirei-Rei: And not getting anywhere either. They're just standing there blushing!
(Tomoyo continues videotaping)
Kirei-Rei: Movement at ten o'clock!
Tomoyo: (looks down at her watch) Odd...my watch says its only 5...
(Kirei-Rei face faults)

(Syaoran and Sakura walk together. Kirei-Rei and Tomoyo peek out from a bush.)
Kirei-Rei: Hmm...This calls for a little push. (Points a finger at them.)
(Syaoran reaches out and holds Sakura's hand)
Syaoran: (turns red) Ah! I'm sorry!! (Pulls his hand away)
Sakura: (blushing slightly) Umm...It's okay...(shyly) It's kind of nice actually...
(So they continue walking holding hands.)
Tomoyo: (films away) Oh~ it's so cute!!
Kirei-Rei: Now for an additional boost! (Snaps her fingers)
(Suddenly it begins to snow Sakura blossoms.)
Syaoran: What is going on?
Sakura: It's so pretty... (Holds out her hands to catch the petals)
(Syaoran just stares at her admiring her beauty)
Kirei-Rei: And a little music... ("Eyes On Me" music version begins to play)
Syaoran: What is going on?
Sakura: Syaoran-kun? Did you do all this?
Syaoran: (turns red) Wha-what???
Kirei-Rei: (snickers) I knew Sakura would be dense enough to assume that...
Tomoyo: Ohohohohoho.... You're evil Kirei-Rei-san. (Giggles)
Kirei-Rei: Teehee...And now for mind control... (Her eyes glow red for a second)
Sakura: Did you do all this Syaoran-kun?
Syaoran: (stutters) N-Yes...I mean No! Yes! I mean...
Sakura: Why?
Syaoran: Because.... ikndklulikemuphyouauhlot... (To himself) Oh my god! What am I saying??
Sakura: What was that Syaoran-kun?
Syaoran: (still to himself) Oh what the hell...Might as well tell her now...(to Sakura) I...I...I love you, Kinomoto Sakura!
Sakura: (mouth falls open) W-what??
(Syaoran starts to run away but Kirei-Rei suddenly appears and holds him in place.)
Kirei-Rei: Now, now Syaoran-kun...It's not very nice to run away from a girl after confessing your love to her...
Syaoran: You did this didn't you??
Kirei-Rei: And for a good reason too! Now I want you two to stay here and talk things out! (Disappears)
Sakura: You love me Syaoran-kun?
Syaoran: (face becomes a tomato) Y-yes...
Sakura: Really? How come you didn't tell me sooner? So soon before you have to leave?
Syaoran: Because I thought that if I did and then left, I might've just ended up hurting you...
Sakura: (looks at him with teary eyes) I think it would've been the other way around instead. You were just too scared to tell me weren't you?
(Syaoran does not answer)
Sakura: Syaoran-kun...
Syaoran: H-hai...?
Sakura: (takes his hand) I love you too...
Syaoran: (looks at her surprised) Really?
(She just nods and hugs him. He hugs her back. Meanwhile behind a certain bush...)
Kirei-Rei: (tears run down her eyes) Oh, this is just too cute!
Tomoyo: (tears run down her cheeks) I'm so lucky to be able to tape this!!!
(Syaoran tilts Sakura's chin up gently and brushes him lips against hers.)
Tomoyo: (squeals) Her first kiss!!
Kirei-Rei: I want a boyfriend too!!
Syaoran: So this is what you two were up to?
(Tomoyo and Kirei-Rei have been caught)

Kirei-Rei: Well my job here is done!
Tomoyo: You mean you only came here to set Sakura-chan and Li-kun together?
Kirei-Rei: (nods) Yep!
Syaoran: Yeah well, I guess I'm grateful...
Touya: (grumbling) I'm not...that Chinese brat with my kaijuu...
Sakura: I am not a kaijuu!! (Stomps on her brother's foot)
(Touya grimaces with pain)
Syaoran: (frowning) And I am not a Chinese brat!
Kero-chan: Oh yes you are!
Syaoran: (glares at Kero-chan) No one asked for your opinion you stuffed animal!!
(Yukito, Kirei-Rei, Sakura, and Tomoyo sweat drop)
(POOF! Kirei-Rei's friends appear)
Hoshina: Looks like you won Rio.
Hikaru: Great...now we have to get her all the anime she wants!
Akari: Congratulations Rio-chan!
Sakura: I thought your name was Kirei-Rei...
Rio: That's my cover up name. My friends and I made a bet to see who could get you two together, and I won. My real name is Rio.
Hikaru: And my name is not Mina-Ri. It's actually Hikaru.
Akari: And my real name is Akari, not Usagi-Yu.
Hoshina: My name is really Hoshina, not Mina-Ai.
Syaoran: So this was all a bet??
Rio: Yep...and now you to are together. Just the way it should be. You shouldn't be upset either.
Sakura: (links her arms with Syaoran) She's right you know.
Syaoran: (blushes) I guess...
Hikaru: (eyes flicker with jealousy for a moment then catches Touya) You're coming with me! (Grabs him and drags him off)
Rio: (sweat drops) Good lord....
Hoshina: (shaking her head) Typical her.
Akari: I don't get it.
Rio: Akari-chan...you never will. C'mon, let's go home and leave the lovebirds alone.
(The friends then all leave with Hikaru dragging along Touya)
Hikaru: Don't worry! I'm only borrowing him!

Kirei-Rei: Well, everyone? What'd you think? My first Card Captor Sakura fanfic and the first one to be finished out of all my other ones.
Kero-chan: There wasn't enough of me in it!
Kirei-Rei: (sweat drops) Go eat cake!
Kero-chan: Where? (Looks around)
Kirei-Rei: Obviously hasn't heard of Marie Antoinette. But anyways...please send your comments to me anytime.
Kero-chan: WHERE'S THE CAKE????????
