hihi this is my first fanfic so hope i do well as an amatuer heh heh....

chapter 3 - Our important task

As Syaoran & Sakura follows Vincent "Hey a.. Vincent so why does the king want to speak with us?" Sakura asks "What!?

you dont know why you were called to this world!?!?" "Huh!? how did you know were not from this world???" Syaoran

ready to protect Sakura [heh heh ain't that so brave of him... haha!!!] "I'll or should I say the King will explain the currnet

situation of our world..." "hmm fine we'll go. come on Sakura." taking her and gently with care "ok <whisper> you dont always

have to hold me you know, but I feel safe..." as she whispers to Syaoran and sees him blushing a light pink. "I am Vincent one

the kings Elite Snipers." "You may procede and the guest?" "<whisper whisper>" "Syaoran what do you think he's saying to

that man?" "Sorry have no clue." "Y-yes S-si-sir!!!" and as the guard opens the gate a bows at a puzzled Sakura and a

concerned Syaoran.

"Great King I have brought the heros to you me Lord.."

"Very good my special servant quickly bring them in!..." he said in a eager voice

"Good good good plzzz come in my honored guests...." he humbly escort them to the dining room.

"Ummm a King sir what may I ask that you want from us..?" both Syaoran and Sakura asking curouisly.

"Well it started long ago.... our world 'Draganair' was a beautiful world with peace and prosperty in even the most

treacherous places,..." as he said then went to a very deep afraid voice "Until... that man came... he appeared in the Evil

Continent raising an army,weapons of destruction ,and evil magic demons... he sent them to our good continent of Draganair

spreading destruction over the land and spreading fear. The people were strong and were able to keep the foul demons out

of the remaining villiges and town or cities. but he kept sending more and more of his minions and army over ,but we were able

to stop them from sending anymore ,but the demons and monsters breed and reproduce on Draganair making the feilds

dangerous. but he has not been defeated and will soon become more powerful and he will be powerful enough to take over

this whole galaxy..."

"So you mean he might also take over earth?..." Syaoran looking worried

"I'm afraid so.." he said with his head down

"Well we must stop him!!!" Sakura jumps out of her seat.

"Yes ,but its not easy." he looks around then

"There is one hope we can look forward to lets head to 8 towers" the king says in a reassured voice

"The 8 towers what is that?" Syaoran asking for the information

"They say when the heros come to take them to the 8 towers of the 8 dragon gods." he start showing them the way.

"So what do we do?" Sakura asking the King for what to do

"You must go to the tower alone and reach the top... its long but you must get there now hurry!"

"Ok lets go!! hey use your dash card Sakura." asking her "K why not? DASH!!!"

"hmmm what a strange room..." Sakura clinging to Syaoran's arm "Syaoran lets get this over with what are we supposed to

do here?" while blushing "hmm? thats a strange looking symbol as both stepped on it...

"WELCOME HEROS..."

"huh!? whos there...."

"I still cannot tell you my identity.."

"hey its you again what do you want from us?..." Syaoran and Sakura pleads

"You must go around the world and look for the 8 Dragon gods... you need there help....plzzz h-hurry I ca-can't stay l-long.."

"Wait why do you want us here?" Syaoran trying to know

"The King have explained already.... plzz hurry to the desert, tell my son that I miss him." As the image fades and dissapears

"Umm Sakura..." noticing she was holding his neck blushing furiously "Oh sorry Syaoran.." blushing herself remembering

what she has just did "umm I think we should go back now." as he slowly walks down the stairs. "yes.." then follows him.

"Well? what happened?" the King and Vincent asking

"We need to goto the Desert to get one of the Dragon gods." Syaoran says as he gets ready to depart.

"Our Kingdom will help you in any way."

"I guess I would be joining to.."

"Hoe?" Sakura wondering why he's coming.

"when you went up there I fainted and had a dream of the dragon telling me to join you hehe.." scratching his head.

"Well you can use our castle and resources for your use... we have the best of magic and some top armor." he said proudly

"Well guess we can learn some spells and train here.." looking over to Sakura seeing her nod with agreement.

"Ok well have 3 days. on the first day we'll get our gear and learn how to use them and get training with them."

"yes I'll arrange it tommorow!" as Vincent goes quickly for they might have little time.

"second we'll learn all the spells you can spare to us." Sakura talking about both of them [they're both gonna train physically

and magic-wise] "then tell us much as can with this legend and leave in the afternoon." both finishing.

"yes yes we will go with this and plzz enjoy yourself.. oh and do you want to stay in seperate rooms?" the king just asks

"ummm we'll just stay in a serperate rooms next to each other." Sakura blushing at the same time.

"yeah that sounds ok..." blushing crimson red also.

"very good then we'll start tommorow better rest up!!!" as he tells the servants and guards about the event that were

happening rather quickly with Sakura and Syaoran.

"Well we enjoyed your hospitality with our training and thanx for all the help you gave us with the legend!" As Sakura,

Syaoran, and Vincent rode away in chocobos. "Well we're supposed to head to the desert. Any deserts around here?"

Syaoran asking Vincent "hmmm the heat plains should be around the west part of Draganair.. here on the map."

"hmmm looks like we'll have to go through the west caverns in order to reach the heat plains and get to the town called

Cleyra." "So the Fire dragon god resides there..." then his eyes wanders to Sakura... 'hmmm she looks cute in that mage

robe the king gave her...' and in Sakura's thought 'hooeeee.... Syaoran looks so hansome in that armor he's wearing that the

Warrior's guild gave him...I wonder what he thinks of me..' then blushing a crimson red after she caught him glaring at her

as likewise with Syaoran. "We should rest in the town of Vali before we head to the west caverns." "hmm that farming town?"

Syaoran asking Vincent "yeah the people there must have told you right?" "yeah we should get going its getting dark." as they

rushed to the town.
