"Dear beloved. We are gathered her today to cherish the memory of Sakura
Avalon. Cause of the death is unknown but it is certain that she was found
with all her blood drained but she is now in a better place, watching over
all of us. Let us not forget, this dear sweet girl," the Priest said. Cries
were being heard from everyone in the cemetery. The wind was blowing and the
sky was grey and the city was blanketed with fog. Li ran home and didn't spot
crying until he was fast asleep in his bed. He was dreaming.
"Hello Li," Sakura said.
"Sakura? But how...Where am I? This looks like a place where you might go
before you enter heaven," Li said puzzeled.
"It is. This is what you think it looks like."
"Am I dead?"
"No, you are just dreaming of me."
"Why did you have to leave me? After we both said how we felt?"
"I didn't mean to leave you but this is fate. I can't control it and
neither can you. If I hadn't died on that very day, the Death Card would have
found another way to kill me because you can't control fate."
"I miss you. I love you."
"I know. I do too but you have to move on with your life. Stay focused on
the Death Card because he's still out there and he's not very happy with you."
"What does that mean?"
"He wants revenge on you and he's going to-----"
Li woke up quickly. It was 4:30am. The dream seemed so short but he was
sleeping for a long time. He remembered Sakura's words, "He wants revenge on
you and he going to---" Going to what? he thought. He went back to sleep and
woke up again at 7:00am. He took a shower and got dressed. He opened the
medicine cabinet to take his toothbrush out and when he closed it, he saw
Sakura in the reflection of the mirror. He quickly turned around.
"Sakura? How is this possible? How can you be right her in the mortal
world instead of the spirit world?" Li asked.
"When you're an angel---" she started.
"You're an angel? You were always on to me," Li interrupted.
"Thank you for saying that but when you're an angel, you can come down to
Earth to see the people you love. I already saw my family but they didn't see
me. I came to see you and I didn't know you would be able to see me."
"Maybe it's because I have magic."
"You're probably right."
"Sakura, what did you mean in my dream? You were warning me about the
Death Card. What's he going to do to me?"
"Oh, yeah. He's going to try to kill you because you stalled him in his
mission to kill me, even though he still succeeded."
"I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault but I'm going to watch over you and help you defeat
him."
"How can I defeat him? You said you cannot change fate."
"This isn't fate. But the only way you can stop him is by capturing him."
"With what? I can't use my sword."
"Take this." And with those words, she held out her hands and light
started coming from it and then the sealing wand appeard and she gave it to
him.
"How do I use it?"
"Just the way I did. If it's in the key form, say, 'Oh key of Clow. The
power of magic, the power of light. Surrender the wand, the force ignite.
Release!' Then hit the card you want to use."
"Okay."
"I have to go now but eventually, I'll be back. Goobye."
"Wait!"
"Yes?"
"Just incase you don't come back, I love you."
"I love you too but I will come back." And with that, blue stars
surrounded her and she left, leaving Li in pain.
