Everybody is 16 except the obvious which are Tori, Julian, etc.(Although, Julian's not really in it yet) Sakura and Li still haven't confessed their feelings. Chapter 1 - Missing You

'It's the perfect day to be depressed,' the fifth-teen year-old Sakura thought as she was listening to her new CD, Dido; No Angel. Here with Me, her favorite, was playing as she lay on her bed thinking of how the lyrics matched her mood. 'What a sad song,' Sakura thought, 'Then again that's one of the reasons I like it so much,' she thought again. "Oh, Li, I miss you so much, I can't stand it! Why did you have to go?!" she said, sitting up and looking at the clock. "1:16," she mumbled to herself, "I better go eat so dad and Tori don't get too worried." She mumbled again, turning her stereo off and walking out her bedroom door. Her dad saw her just as she reached the last step.
"I cooked a big lunch since you haven't eaten in a while." He said in a hopeful voice as Sakura walked into the kitchen.
"Thanks, dad. I think I've worked up a big appetite." She lied while secretly thinking, 'How am I going to eat all this food?!' Suddenly her cell phone, Madison had given her five years ago, rang. "Hello?" Sakura said, making her voice sound more enthusiastic then it really was as she walked into the living room to sit down.
"Hi, Sakura, its me, Madison." Madison said, shyly, on the other end.
"Oh, hi Madison. How's it going?"
"Great. You?"
"I'm great too."
"......................"
"Why'd ya call?"
"Just to check on you, Kero and I were a little worried, that's all." Immediately, Sakura remembered that Kero spent the night at Madison's.
"I'm okay. There's no reason to worry."
"Good, I was hoping that after two months you would get over Li leaving again!" Madison said in a relieved voice.
"Yeah" Sakura said in disbelief. That was all she could say. She had told Madison how she felt about Li and how she could never tell him since he went back to Hong-Kong. Out of all people, she thought Madison understood how she felt. The only way to get over this was to tell him that she loved him, but that was impossible. He was, and still is, in China!
"Sakura? Are you still there?"
"Yeah, I'm still here." Sakura answered as she tried her best not to blow her top.
Madison let out a sigh of relief.
"I thought you hung up on me."
"Look, Madison, I gotta go. My dads got lunch ready."
"Oh, sorry. I guess I'll see you when I take Kero home, okay?"
"Um, do you think he could stay there for the rest of spring break?"
"Why"
"Well, I'm kinda busy over here and he might get in the way, that's all."
"Oh, of course he can stay."
"Thanks, I owe ya one. Bye!"
"Bye!" After she hung up, Sakura thought to herself, 'I have got to stop lying to people' She then went to the table to join her dad for lunch.
"Where's Tori? I thought he was coming over to eat lunch with us." Sakura asked her father.
"He's trying out another job"
"Oh."

'I wish I could see Li again.' Sakura thought, back in her bedroom. 'Well, he can't come back to Japan, he even told me so. (Pause) I know, I can visit him! But how?' she asked herself. Then with a gasp, it came to her. "The Cards!" she almost yelled. "Thank god we haven't sealed them yet." She continued, walking towards the Book of Clow. "This is great. Now I can surprise him!" she said, prancing around the room. "What I am I going to tell dad and Tori?" she asked, stopping dead in her tracks. 'That I'm going camping?' now talking in her thoughts, afraid her dad would hear her. 'Yeah, that'll work! I'll tell them I'm going camping in the woods with some friends for the rest of spring break.' She thought again. "Ooh! I can't wait to see Li's face when I show up at his front door!" At that she started to laugh hysterically as she pictured what Li's face would look like.
