Chapter 2 - On My Way

Two days had passed since Sakura had decided to go to Hong-Kong for spring break. She told Madison and Kero what the real plan was so they could help if any questions were asked. She had packed her bag and used the Small Card to make it small enough to fit in her pocket. Then she divided the deck of Clow Cards into two, putting half the pile in one back pocket and the other in a different pocket. Now she was ready to go. Sakura had already said good-bye to everyone but Kero and Madison so there they were, in Madison's back-yard, saying good-bye.
"Good-bye Madison. Good-bye Kero. Thank you so much for letting me do this."
"Ouw(as in 'Ouw! How cute!'), we knew you missed him, though I can't see why." Kero said as he rested on Madison's shoulder. Sakura smiled.
"Besides, you can tell us how he's doin'. I'm sure everyone misses him." Said Madison, also smiling at Kero's remark.
"Well, bye! I'll see you before school starts! Okay?!" Sakura shouted as she stared to take off, using the Fly Card.
"You bet! Bye, Sakura!" Kero and Madison yelled back, in unison. They kept waving until they couldn't see her anymore. Sakura did the same. Once they were out of sight, she yelled, "I'm coming, Li!" Then she smiled sheepishly, realizing how corny that sounded.

"Now, how about some Cheese Cake?" Kero asked Madison as they walked into her house, actually, he was still resting on Madison's shoulder.
"Oh, alright. But only because you didn't go ballistic when Sakura said she wanted to visit Li."
"I knew something good would come from that!"

About 6-7 hours had passed when Sakura finally spotted what seemed to be Hong-Kong. After stopping and checking her map, she yelled, "Yes! I'm finally here!".
"Next, I go surprise Li!" now whispering, afraid someone would look up if they heard her. "Wait, I don't know where he lives! How stupid can I be, not to think of how I'd find him!? I sure could use Li's lasen board right now!(Pause) That's it!" Sakura slowly landed on the roof of a building so she could call out a card. As soon as she was done returning Fly, she yelled, "Create Card! Create a lasen board just like Li's! Release and dispel!" Then, she hit the card. Immediately a lasen board appeared and shot out a blue light that pointed to a near-by neighborhood. 'It must have known who I wanted to find.' Sakura thought to herself. Then she called upon the Fly Card again and flew towards the neighborhood with one hand on her staff and the other holding the lasen board. As she got closer, she noticed the blue beam was pointing to a house. 'Li must live there. I hope he's home.' Sakura thought again. Instead of landing in front of the house, she landed in an alley. After she got off of her staff, Sakura half yelled, half whispered, "Fly Card and Create Card! Return to your power! Confined!" When both cards were back to their "card form", she headed toward Li's house. "I'm almost there, Li." She whispered to herself as she passed a house.
