Hi. this is my first fanfic. My name is Emily. The title of my fanfic is
"Power of Love". It is a series so u'll hear from me soon ^_~. Anywayz the
title of the first chapter is "The Dreams". so...<drum roll>... here it is!!

Disclaimer: Any character in this story belongs to CLAMP. So DON’T sue me.
Wish they belonged to methough. WAHH!! Oh well… the four magnificent ladies
who make up CLAMP made these characters. Except the bad guybelongs to ME!
MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Chapter One:The Dreams~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“Who…who are you… “
“What do you want…”
The wind swirled around Sakura as she stood in front of the Tokyo tower. Her
hairblowing in the wind, Kero resting on her shoulder with the Sakura Cards
flyingaround her.
“Who…”
A figurewas standing in the shadows, red eyes glowing.
“Show yourself… what doyou want from me!?”

“SAKURA!!”
“Wake up, you are almost late! Wake up sleepyhead! You don’t wanna be late
for the first day of school!”
“HOE?!” Sakura opens her eyes tofind Kero right in front of her,
flying. “AHHHHH!” Sakura flings Kero into the wall. “OUCH!! Must you do
this EVERYDAY!?” Kero complained. “Oops, sorry Kero.” Sakura quickly
changedand did her hair while Kero helped. “Sakura, what were you saying in
your sleep? You were muttering andgroaning.” Kero asked. “Oh, let
methink…” Sakura scrunched up her face and tried to remember the dream,
which wasslipping away from her mind. “I remember…” She thought back even
harder. “Glowing eyes…blood red…” she finally said. “Glowing blood red
eyes?” repeated Kero frowning worriedly. He quickly asked “Is this the
first timeyou’ve had this dream?” “No, I had it for 2 nights now,” said
Sakura. “Then is there…”Kero was cut off by Touya’svoice from downstairs.
“Hey, Sakura,I’m leaving! You better hurry up!” “Oh,this is just GREAT,”
Sakura moaned. “Talk to you later Kero,” She picked up her book bag and ran
out of theroom. 2 seconds later she ran back inand went straight for her
dresser. Placed on top of it was a teddy bear. “Bye, Syaoran. Be back
later!” Then she kissed the bear on top of itsnose. She sprinted back out the
door. Kero had a vein popped out anime style, he doesn’t like that name,
evenif it’s a bear’s name.

“Please, don’t ring, DON’TRING!” Sakura prayed as she skated at top speed
towards the school. Her first day of 6th grade, she’salready 12, she HAS to
change this habit of being late! Well, ALMOST late anyway. She changed her
blades with her shoes andran towards the classroom. She openedthe door and
jumped in. CLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAP!!! She looked up to seeTakashi, Tomoyo,
Naoko, Rika, and Chiharu were all smiling and clapping forher. RING! The bell
rang just as Sakura sat down in a seat next to Tomoyo. “Ohayo! Wow,
Sakura-chan, you made it justin time!” Tomoyo exclaimed. “Just like always!
Ohayo, Tomoyo-chan!” Sakurasmiled back. She twisted to look behindher to see
who was sitting there. Theseat was empty. She turned back aroundand
sighed. Tomoyo leaned over andpatted her best friend’s back. “Sakura-chan,
I am sure Li-kun is thinking of you now…” “Arigato, Tomoyo-chan.” Just
then, theteacher walked in, the class gasped in surprise. It was Mr.
Terada! Rikasquealed in surprise. “Mr. Terada! Youare our teacher again
this year?!” she cried out in amazement. “Yes that’s right, I was
promotedagain. Looks like another year for usall, isn’t that right
everyone?” “YEAH!” the class shouted. Tomoyo glanced at Sakura. “Hey,first
period is math.” Tomoyo whispered. “WHA… oh, this is perfect.”Sakura
whispered back, sarcastically. This is such a great start to the day, she
thought.
While in Hong Kong…
“Li Syaoran! Please go up to theboard and solve the problem.” Syaoranjerked
out of his trance and went straight up to the board. After a few neat
scribbles, the answer waspresented. The math teacher beamed ather star
pupil. As Syaoran went backdown to his seat, he heard Meilin say “I knew it!
I just knew Syaoran couldanswer the problem!”. Some peoplearound her
sweatdropped. After math,Syaoran went to the locker room to change for gym.
He passed several girls who looked at him for a second andquickly turned
around giggling. As thenew captain of the soccer team, and a star pupil of
the school, he is attracting many girls onto him. Butthere was only one girl
he thought worthy of his love… Kinomoto Sakura… He sighed as he set out for
the field.
Aftera successful practice, Syaoran came back into the locker room. He
changed back into his clothing. Next class was Chinese class, he
groaned,remembering the Japanese he was forcing himself to learn even better
athome. All for Sakura he thought, howwould he communicate with her if he
forgot Japanese?! All for my Sakura. Theday quickly passed and Syaoran
arrived at home with Meilin. They did their homework, then Syaoran hadhis
training for 4 straight hours. Afterwards, Syaoran showered and then had
supper. All tired out, Syaoran put the dried dishesinto the rack and headed
upstairs for his room. It was 10 o’clock PM already. Sakura’s probably
going to sleep right about now, he thought. He stepped out onto the balcony
and lookedup at the stars. They were just likeSakura’s eyes… bright, shiny,
and endless. But Sakura’s was even better. Syaoran went back into his room
and slid shut the balcony door. He went for his dresser and lifted off
ateddy bear sitting there. Flopping downonto his bed he hugged the bear
tightly and said “Goodnight Sakura, sweetdreams.” Then he put the bear back
ontothe dresser. Next, he lay back down tosleep, he had a long and tiring
day tomorrow, waking up at 4:00, having 2 hoursof training in the morning,
then going to school and since tomorrow’s Friday,he’ll have 5 hours of
training instead of 4 after school. He fell asleep, thinking of Sakura.

“Sleep on, little wolf” said a taunting voice.
“Huh?! Who… who are you!?” Syaoran said. He was standing alone in a patch
of lightand outside that small circle of light was pitch black. Syaoran
turned his head around a little,looking around him. He got his swordready.
“Go on, get your pathetic littletoy, since this is a dream, you can’t hurt
me.” Syaoran’s amber eyes narrowedas he shouted “Who are you? What do you
want?!” “What do I want? Your precious cherry blossom asked me the verysame
thing in her dream. I didn’tanswer her though. I didn’t even talkto her.
You will soon see what Iwant. You, Card master, and yourbeloved Mistress of
the Cards, you will soon see what I want.” Syaoran’s heart seized with
fear. What does this… this thing want with Sakuraand me?, he thought. As he
slowly turned around, he saw a pair of glowing red eyes… blood red.

“Syaoran! Wake up!” Syaoran openedhis eyes groggily and focused on his
mother’s face. “Syaoran, hurry up! Time for your 2 hours of training!”
“Yesmother.” Syaoran said, distracted. Hewas still thinking about the
dream. Hewas very worried about Sakura… He walked over to the teddy bear on
top of hisdresser and put his hand on the head, stroking slowly, deep in
thought. Sakura, what’s happening over there?, hethought.
Meanwhile back in Japan…
Sakura had the strange dreamagain. Then very same thing happenedagain in the
morning with Kero being flung and Sakura apologizing and themdiscussing a
little about the weird dream and Touya interrupting and Sakurarushing out
just to come back in again to say bye to Syaoran the teddy bear andwith Kero
glaring at the bear. Exceptthis time, after Sakura left, Kero flew down next
to the bear and kind ofkicked it. Unsuccessful, he bouncedback onto the bed,
muttering “That stupid bear, no idea why Sakura likes thatkid so much, oh
well, some video game will cheer me up, YEAH!” Kero’s facelight’s up at the
thought of it. “But first, I’ll have to wait till Sakura’sfather gets out of
the house to get some snacks… hehe”
