The next day, Li was walking down the street
when he saw someone in
the distance. Li squinted to see who it was but couldn't make
it out. He
didn't care who it was. He didn't care much about anything these
past months.
As he turned the corner, he rammed into someone, both of them
falling to the
concrete.
"OW! Hey! Watch where you are going next time, dude!"
Li scolded.
"Sorry," said a soft voice.
"It's oka--SAKURA?!"
"What?" asked the girl.
"You're Sakura!"
"What are talking about?!" the girl asked, kind
of annoyed.
"I'm saying that you are this girl that I once knew."
"I am? Well, I don't remember. I don't remember anything,"
said the
girl.
"Well, can I call you 'Sakura' since you don't remember
your name?"
"I guess so," said Sakura.
"Who's your family?"
"I have no family. I don't even remember them."
"Where do you live?"
"I told you I don't remember anything! I just kinda
arrived here in
the park, lying on the grass."
"Sorry. I just thought you would at least remember
something."
"No."
"Can you at least show me the place where you woke
up at?"
''Sure..." Then, the both went off to where she first
woke up.
They walked to the park and stopped
under a Sakura tree. "Well, this
is the spot where I woke up," Sakura said. Li was looking
around for
something that might be helpful to figuring out way 'Sakura'
was really here.
Then, Li spotted something inside a bush. It was shining of silver
and
emerald green. "Huh?!" Li exclaimed, "What's this?"
Li picked up the little
crystal.
"I don't know," Sakura replied.
"Let's take it to Kero," Li stated.
"Who?!" Sakura said with a puzzled look on her
face.
"Uhh...I'll explain on the way."
"Well, I want to know now."
"Well, he is a little yellow toy that talks."
"Yeah, that's explains a lot."
"I don't know how else to put it. I'll just show you
when we get
there."
"Ok. Let's go." |
