Li, Sakura and Kero finally arrived
at Li's apartment building. With Kero hidden in a bag, Li and Sakura walked up the stairs, down the long corridor and went into his apartment and sat on the couch. "AH! Finally I can get my head out of that bag! It smells like shi--,"Kero exclaimed. "Hey! Watch your mouth, Kero," Li interrupted. "Well, it does. Anyway, about that memory crystal. Long ago, Clow Reed made this because if one of the Cardcaptors died at a young age and is still able to capture cards, they would be reincarnated but with no memory of his or her past. As you can tell, they would still be able to talk and walk but have no memory of the past like families, friends and about cardcaptoring. So, the memory crystal would restore the memory of the person who died." "So," Sakura started, "I actually know you people and I'm reincarnated?" "Yup," Kero answered. "How do we restore her memory?" Li asked. "Well, with the potion of course. You do have the potion right?" Kero asked. "Uhh...where is it?" Li questioned. "Well, it should have been right next to the memory crystal where you found it. It's supposed to be in a diamond shaped bottle with a red cork on the top." "It wasn't there when I found the crystal." "Hmm...Sakura, when you woke up, was there people in the park?" Kero asked. "Yes, actually," Sakura answered. "A lot?" "I guess so. Why?" "Well, since it WAS supposed to be right next to the crystal, I'm wondering if a person found it and took it home." "Well," Li started, "maybe, I just missed it. Sakura and I will go back to the park and look for it. Diamond shaped bottle with a red cork right?" "Right." "Okay. Come on Sakura. We'll go look and restore your memory okay?" "Okay," Sakura said. "Kero, you stay here," said Li. "Fine," said Kero, bummed. As Sakura and Li were leaving the apartment, Kero shouted, "WAIT!" "What is it now?" Li asked. "Do you have any chocolate ice cream I can eat while I wait. I don't know how long it will take and I might die of starvation and---" "Quit talking! I have some in the freezer. Bye." "WAIT!" "Now what?!" "I can exactly OPEN the freezer." "Man!" Li exclaimed. He went over the freezer, opened it and took out the container of chocolate ice cream. "Happy?" Li asked. "No." "Why?" "I can't open the container." "Dude! I'm not your slave." Li opened the top of the container. "Here. Now are you happy?!" "Yeah." Sakura was laughing in the corner. Li saw her laughing as was happy that she was laughing, even if she had no memory of him. They finally left to go to the park. When they got there, they were haunting for the potion in the bushes, at the jungle gym, in the sand but couldn't find it. "Where could it be?" asked Sakura. "I have no idea," Li replied. "Isn't this cool?" said a kid. "Yeah. What is it?" asked another. "Well, it looks like some kind of juice of some sort...." Li and Sakura knew what those two boys were talking about. "That little kid has it!" Li whispered loudly. "How are we going to get it from him?" Sakura asked. "I have no idea. Maybe we can make him feel guilty and put up this whole little act right in front of him." "What kind of act?" "Well, how about this!" Li started to whisper into Sakura's ear about their little plan. Sakura started to smile as Li told her. "Yeah! That just might work," Sakura said excitingly. Li and Sakura started walking over to the bench, a couple feet in front of the 2 little boys. |
