Chapter 8-

Syaoran woke up disturbed. He found everyone asleep except Tomoyo and Eriol.
He also heard some noise downstairs. "They couldn't could they?" He asked
himself. He peered down and saw 2 shadows. One pointed and asked in a female
voice,"This one?" The other one nodded."But what does she want with Sakura?"
The female voice asked. Sakura? What about her? He leaned closer hoping to
get a clearer sound, but accidentally tripped on the next step and fell flat
on his face. "Are you okay?" Tomoyo asked rather loudly.

"Shh! What if they wake up?" "It's okay. Eriol put this stuff on them so they
can't hear anything." "It's about time you got here Syaoran." Eriol stated.
"Hmp. And how long were you here?" "An hour or so I presume. And one might've
gotten the feeling that you didn't care about Sakura." (It's about 5:00 rite
now.) "Yea, anyway about Sakura?" Syaoran inquired rather impatiently. "Look
at this, this is the woman haunting Sakura's dreams. Now look here."

He points to 2 pictures. One was of a girl with long brown hair and bright
green emerald eyes. The other is a picture of Sakura. Gasp! "They look
exactly alike with the exception of the other girl's long hair!" Tomoyo
squeaked. "Yes, well that's not all. There was this story about that girl.
You see, she fell in love with a knight, and he too fell in love with her.
But there was this witch who also loved him. And when she heard about the
girl and knight's love, she tried to attack the girl in her own home.
Fortunately the police came, but the witch escaped from jail, never to
return, except 4 years later...

The knight was forced to go off to fight in the war, he promised his love
that he would return when it was all over. But leaving her was the biggest
mistake yet. Over the past 4 years the witch's power grew stronger, and soon
enough she had the power to enter and control the desired person's dreams.
When the girl told people of the witch haunting her dreams, they shrugged it
off, thinking she was upset over the loss of her loved one. (No he didn't
die!) One stormy night, the woman returned for a final showdown.

The girl could fight some, and fended her off for a while, while this was
happening, the knight's friend, a good sorceress, said that they could save
the girl if they went into her dreams and killed the witch. She made a
strange blue potion that allowed people to go into another's dreams. Many
police and knights failed in killing the witch. When word finally reached the
knight, he instantly sailed back, as fast as he could." Eriol stopped a
moment to observe their faces. They both looked shocked. And who wouldn't?
The whole situation is very overwhelming. "Shall I continue?" he asked.
Syaoran and Tomoyo nodded.

"When the knight came back, he took the potion, and together they defeated
the evil witch." "So they won with the power of love..." Tomoyo sighed. "How
romantic..." "That's not all of the story either." Eriol interrupted. "When
the witch was defeated, she swore revenge." "So where do we get this powder?"
"That's the thing." "We'll have to make it from scrap.." Sakura's scream is
heard. "We don't have that kind of time she's dying!" Syaoran shouted.

"There's one more part to the story. When the knight was on his way, the
girl's mother gave the girl comforting words. This was believed to help her
last against the witch until her knight came." "So if we.." Tomoyo and Eriol
looked to Syaoran, only to find that he was gone.

"Sakura please hang on a little bit longer. You don't even know how much you
ma\ean to me. You can't leave, I never even told you that I ...Love......you
..." His voice cracked as tears fell from his eyes onto her cheek.

The dark void surrounded her, but she could see a tiny glitter of hope.
"Syaoran...."

Bunni: Just to clear up this little mishap, in the last chapter (7) the last
part was Sakura's dream okay?
Kero: This chapter is kinda short and boring.
Bunni: Well there has to be at least one chapter with the explanation and the
shortness I will make up for in the next chapter. Its gonna be kinda long. =)
Kero: I'm just glad that there is just one more chapter and the the epilogue.
